Battlefield V is a first-person shooter video game developed by EA DICE and published by Electronic Arts. Battlefield V is the sixteenth installment in the Battlefield series. It was released worldwide for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on November 20, 2018. Those who pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition of the game were granted early access to the game on November 15, 2018, and Origin Access Premium subscribers on PC received access to the game on November 9, 2018. The game is based on World War II and is a thematic continuation of its World War I based precursor Battlefield 1.
Battlefield V will focus extensively on party-based features and mechanics, scarcity of resources, and removing "abstractions" from game mechanics to increase realism. There will be an expanded focus on player customization through the new Company system, where players will be able to create multiple characters with various cosmetic and weapon options. Cosmetic items, and currency used to purchase others, will be earned by completing in-game objectives.
The game will feature several new multiplayer modes, including the "continuous" campaign mode "Tides of War", "Firestorm", and "Grand Operations". The Grand Operations mode is an expansion of the "Operations" mode introduced in Battlefield 1, which focuses on matches taking place across multiple stages to simulate a campaign from the war. In Grand Operations, each round will have specific objectives, and performance in each stage will influence the next. Games will culminate with a "Final Stand", with players using only a primary weapon with limited ammo, and no respawns. Similarly to Battlefield 1, the game will feature a collection of single-player "war stories" based on aspects of World War II. The game also features a cooperative mode not seen since Battlefield 3 called "Combined Arms", where four players can undertake missions together and features dynamic missions and objectives so missions cannot be played the same way each time. Combined Arms is scheduled to be released after launch. The Battle Royale mode will be built around the franchise's "core pillars of destruction, team play, and vehicles". The name "Firestorm" is derived from a literal storm of fire that engulfs players similar to the popular Battle Royale game mechanic of restricting the play area. Furthermore, this particular game mode is not being developed by EA DICE themselves, but has been outsourced to Criterion Games and features the biggest map created by the franchise to date. It is playable by 64 players, which are divided into up to 16 squads with a focus on team work.Firestorm is scheduled to be released in March 2019. - Wikipedia

I'm quite surprised you didn't get fliegered. With the Aussie servers it seems you get a grace period at the start and once they realize you're starting to do a little damage it's AA's and Fliegers until they ice you.
Yeah that's definitely the case on Aussie servers. This was a Singapore though

@@reposter6434 I play PC and AA is a big player. I find that Panzerstorm always has AA tanks and one other map who name escapes me as well

I abuse the heck out of the High Altitude Package. Pretty much go straight to the ceiling when someone jumps on my 6. And then when they get smart and pull away, I just turn back on their 6. Normally I just mind my own business but when they start hunting me is when I start getting cheeky. And smoke is severely underrated, you can even cover your team’s movements in open areas. Double edged sword though because you gotta drop down close to the floor.

@@joshgoinncrazyy Im a stinker I know! 😈Sometimes I’ll slot in front of people and bait them into a stall climb. Yet no one thinks to change their load outs! I get an easy 15 plane streaks. Especially since people really try for the bombers which hmgs and rockets just SHRED! 😂
Silk is a goat in a plane wish I could be good like him😥. I'm getting better at straffing ground targets but I suck at dog fighting I can't handle how fast the plane turns and it makes it hard to track when I can't keep control and I still don't understand how to play defense sadly.

Sucks that this is the only plane with the rockets, nitrous and high altitude, once the enemy realizes he can’t beat you in a dogfight, he’ll start flying high and you won’t be able to reach him

Which planes do you use for each faction? I've been getting into the game lately as a pilot but the information online is outdated. Various buffs and nerfs later I don't know which planes are viable.
German G6. USA p51D, f4u-1c, p70 night fighter. brits VB, VA, FB MK4 mosquito. Japanese A6M5

Can you explain further about the "Uniform Vehicle Aiming"? Does it only affect 1st person plane aiming or affect both 3rd and 1st person aiming ?

My rockets seem to keep missing high.
I am having an issue with my rockets right now and I am really struggling to find the right now. I mostly noticed it on the pacific maps with the 2X rockets since AA is destroying me and I need to get out as quickly as possible.
I don't know whether it is my attack angle, or I am shooting them too close and they are calibrated higher to compensate for "bullet drop." Can someone help me out here? Every time I watch Silk, his rockets seem to go exactly where he aims, which was odd to me when he said he would need to aim above the target on that one example where he was using the cannons and explaining. Thanks!

Bro! How did you get rid of the heat glare on this map? It’s near impossible to see the ground on Xbox for me and 90% of the time I can only go for spotted enemies
Ahh XBOX. Not much you can do there aside from disabling those filters in graphics settings

P-51 was more of an energy fighter. not so much of a sustained dogfight plane unfortunately.
It can handle well in dogfighting. It dives better than the BF109. You can literally make a 109 crash. Also the 6x .50 cal guns can break a wing easily. Delay your turns after merging and you'll ruin any pro pilot. The Spitfire VA is the BF109's worst enemy because of that delayed turn trick

Why are you going mainly after soldiers and not after the tanks? Sometimes a tank is even spotted and you still pick the person standing 10m away from it instead of the tank. Killing the tank would be much more helpful for your team.
he goes for a tank if its at 80 health or below because then it can be killed in 1 pass, he doesnt want to waste time so he can get more kills
@@brokenmonitertheonly taking out tanks, even for only 80%, seems very beneficial for the team though. I normally go for the tanks as they are huge targets easier to spot and hit
@@eric4681702 yeah, i target tanks transports and planes in my fighter and then go for enemies on objectives to help out my team as much as possible
@@brokenmonitertheonly seems logical. It sometimes feels like silk is trying to target soldiers over planes/tanks to make the round last longer ( = more kills in that round). If you see the scoreboard of the enemy there are sometimes vehicles going 20-0 there; taking them out will be hugely beneficial for the team and the round will be over quicker (good chance they will be infantry next and the tank that spawns has a noob in it). It will also mean a shorter youtube clip and a less spectacular score. Optimal is to harvest individuals and lose sector after sector but only make a stand at the end making the round last 20+ minutes and still winning.
Or maybe there is another reason, which is why i ask.
Imagine him going 30-0 next; nobody will watch that clip while the one with 180+ kills is very popular
