About 2~3 weeks ago I searched youtube to find the way to make pop-ups, and I found your videos. It was really helpful to me! Unlike other videos(which show how to make one specific design), I could learn basic principles of pop-ups and I could apply them to my own design. After watching almost all of your videos, I was in the hope of your new video. So I'm really happy to see new videos which uploaded 8 hours before! Thank you for teaching us by this amazing videos. I will always cheer your artworks :-)
His book is also well worth the investment as a mix media person if gave found it invaluable and especially being on a low income for the reasons you stated and many more I hadn't thought of until seeing these. Good luck and thank you x
I am from Mexico and I love your work, you inspire me a lot for my homework at university, the art for pop up is so fantastic, congratulations on your dedicated work
Your channel is a "new discovery" for me and I immediately subscribed and signed up for notification of new postings! I LOVE MECHANICAL and interactive cards! I appreciate your visual AND oral specifics/measurements/instructions! THANK YOU!! I look forward to going back and starting with Tutorial number 1.
Thank you. As always a wonderful tutorial and presentation to demonstrate a very fun mechanic that I haven't seen before. Gonna make some and keep my eye open now for other examples.
No entiendo inglés pero entiendo perfectamente lo que explicas. Muchísimas gracias querido profesor!! Es usted maravilloso por enseñarnos estos saberes. 😘
You are right, that is a VERY strong glue; I would suggest using a piece of scrap cardstock to use as a kind of applicator tool. Also, if you have tweezers, they help quite a bit in affixing the decorative pieces to the base structure/s. LOVE your channel, your explanations are amazingly thorough.
Your account is simply incredible. Wish you could upload templates of all pieces somewhere on a website for easier download. Nonetheless, thank you for your gifting of this knowledge.
I don't do templates as I think things are more individual if people make up their own designs. Most of the tutorials show how to make things without the need for measuring - so hopwfully not too difficult.
Can you please help me tell me what folds and lessons to look at when making a 3d looking map (birds eye view) and also a 3d tree house that comes off the book when flat
I'm not sure that pop-up is the right medium for map making - you could try looking at Tutorials 9, 21, 12. As for the tree house - sorry I don't think I understand the question.
Seeing this video very late… but im hoping to try and make a card like this. Would you say it’s best to design/color each piece beforehand and then assemble, or assemble and then design?
Any books that I show in the videos are listed at the end of the videos. The books that I've written will be shown in a short video at the end of next week.
In the video all posts just flash seconds, I can't watch clearly. Is it possible to post in words , That's easy to read.I want to buy some good illustrated and good story for my grandson in USA. Could you recommend some to readers. Thank you
Any books shown in the tutorials are listed in the credits at the end. Also maybe you can pause the vid when there's something you need to see more clearly.

Definitely colour first. Ideally be prepared to make two - an experimental one first and then a more refined second one.
@@thepop-upchannel4919Awesome. Will do. Thanks so much for the video- and for the reply! So helpful!
