If so, there are some doctors who will get sued for not reporting her to the DMV. But I'm betting there is no record anywhere of her ever being diagnosed with a seizure disorder.

I have seizures and other medical issues that make it unsafe for me to drive. I take medication that prohibits me from drinking alcohol. I have surrendered my drivers license voluntarily. It sucks! I can't just up and go! I have to get rides now! But what would be far, far worse would be to be in this woman's shoes. I do not regret giving up my license, simply because I don't want that kind of situation in my life, my families life. I don't want to be the one to hurt or kill people because I am selfish. She has a medical history, it shows all her conditions and medications. If there is any condition that makes her incapable of driving the n it will be there. What gets me the most is that her family, at least her spouse, must have known; if for no other reason than her meds and he/they could have prevented it by speaking to her doctor about their concerns and even going to the DMV to get her license pulled. I am sorry for the children that passed because of a selfish, uncaring woman. Yes, uncaring, because if she had cared at all she would have stayed off the wine and out of the drivers seat

If she did have a seizure and especially if she has had any before and is on meds for them she shouldn't be driving depending on when her last seizure was. There's actually a law that you have to be seizure free for X amount of months or years depending on why you get seizures. Her defense will on depend on her last seizure, when she started taking meds and if she was told not to drive on it. The only bad thing with her defense is that pretty much any seizure med I know of you can't drink while taking. If any of her meds stated this on the bottle or was told by her doc not to drink with taking them (since it's a pretty important thing with these meds) then her defense falls apart.
