I'm surprised Anakin didn't rescue his mother between episode 1 and 2.
He wasnt allowed, according the books he requested several times but obi wan and the council refused, telling him to let go. Only when he was sent to be with padme on naboo did he have a chance to go on his own, as the jedi council nor obi wan was there to stop him.

@ghostnick279 pffftttt, more silliness. Palp manipulated everything for that to happen. They didn't find out it was him until he directly told Anakin. The Jedi were too busy on their high horse to notice how broken the order was. A lord of the Sith broke the Republic and revived the Empire under their noses. Qui was wise, but in the end, he was too weak to make a difference. He would have become another source of hate for Anakin when he eventually was offed by not following the JC and fell to one of Palps tricks.
@@omysadat you don't know how vital qui gon role, he is a jedi who don't like how council work But he was taken into account by the council, even the council didn't want anakin get jedi train He still insisted on training him that out the law of council but the council Let it for qui gon, about anakin if he trained by qui gon he will teach a jedi path but different way cuz qui gon simply grey jedi he will get father figure for a place to tell stories and get advice and with that anakin never join the dark side and again It is not without meaning that the duel is called the duel of fates

When you think Palpatine would go quietly, Sorry no matter the what if that doesn’t change. That duel in the senate building would happen regardless. and the thing is I once heard the separatists had the ability to end the war within a few weeks if palpatine really wanted them to, and I garuantee if he escaped after losing control of the republic and his Identity revealed to the Jedi. He would definitely make that call if it meant victory.

Unless Sidious takes it upon himself to personally kill Qui-Gonn before he can advance Anakin's training. And Qui-Gonn's MO puts him at a considerable disadvantage against the Sith. If Maul could kill him, imagine what THE Dark Lord of the Sith would do to him.
If Qui Gon had won againt Maul, i think that Sidious had killed Qui Gon himself later.

I think if Qui-Gon lived, then it’s possible Anakin wouldn’t have fallen for Padme. At least not during or before the Clone Wars. Anakin would have become a very different Jedi. We still would have got the Clone Wars. Palpatine would not have lured Count Dooku to the Darkside. - Maybe Maul still lives and narrowly escapes the battle between Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon. - We get to see Palpatine perfect Maul’s training. And from there who knows. It’s no secret that Maul was a much more capable Sith then Count Dooku. Give Maul 10 more years of training when we get to episode 2… Shudders...
Low-key I don't think an Anakin trained by Qui-gon would be infatuated with Padmé. I think a Qui-gon survives universe is inherently a no Luke or Leia universe.
If we talk about the Disney canon I don't think Gui Gon would allow Anakin to have a relationship with Padme. A common mistake about him is thinking he would reject every principe of the Jedi Order but in the Master and Apprentice novel he disagree with an other Jedi who had a sexual relationship with a woman

And the reason why I disagree is because Qui Gon while alive refused to sit at the table despite being a high ranking Jedi and they didn't want to listen to him. They dismissed the idea that maul was a sith lord.
Qui Gon himself was arrogant and swore that Anakin would not be a problem, but everyone in the order saw through it and knew that Anakin was dangerous, even as a child, yet Qui Gon had it in his head that Anakin was the chosen one and misinterpreted the prophecy.
Anakin may have been different but force ghost Qui Gon even says that Anakin was way too much to handle.
Anakin still would have turned. It may not have been as dramatic, but Anakin was destined for the role.
That's why the force chose Kenobi to train him.

@@jackweber3660 yes but even as a child, the order knew he was dangerous and that Qui Gon didn't even realize it. Anakin may have been a bit more stable with Qui Gon but the force wanted him to be trained by Kenobi because he was meant to turn. He had to bring balance to the force by destroying them from within.
Qui Gon training him may have done the opposite and brought more imbalance to the force.
