this is actually more fun to watch than the WWE on TV.
And it looks better than WWE's most recent broken mess of a video game.

The one thing I didn't like about the sequel is that it lost it's "wrestling gameplay" unlike the first one it's now more of a fighting game in a 2D plane like SF, but still overall a great game due to it's lore and gameplay.
That and they're all the exact same sprites from the ones involved in the first game.

That's what I actually love. Each one has a different experience. You can just pick which one you'd rather play. This one honestly does look like a souped-up Super Turbo so I gotta say I'm impressed!

I never knew there was a SNSM sequel, this looks very lacking compared to the first. The first was wrestling, this looks like every other Capcom Street Fighter clone. Why did they change it from being able to move all around the ring to just stuck on the left and right axis?
I don't know I like this one better and yes I'm all for it being Street Fighter wrestling game I didn't like the first one because it reminds me of 3 Count Bout and that game absolutely horrible the only *none Wrestling but still a 2D Wrestling game aside from WWF WrestleFest that worked imo was King of the Monsters

There is just no reason to incude Haggar when you have Zangief. And it would be strange to remove Zangief.

Haggar have different move sets beside the double lariat and spinning piledriver. Such as the angry hammer and the violent ax
They should make zangief as haggar's rival and include both haggar and zangief
It doesn't make sense to make a rivalry there as far as I know, unless you know about other stuff I am not familiar with. As for Alpha 3 Max, it is hardly a serious title. Though I now remember we see plenty of Karate guys which all do the same.

Gosh, I’ve always wished that Capcom had added Zangief as a playable character to this series. However, Haggar is pretty dope in his own right so I can’t complain.

I wish some of TA combos can be performed real-time.
Frame perfect inputs are actually discovered and exploited by fighting game players in real time. (See: Perfect Links or just plinks in Street Fighter 4.) It's just that TAS with its ability to manipulate the CPU opponent's decision making makes stuff possible that no real time runner would even think to go for. This goes both ways, too: Depending on the game, a lot of techniques are first discovered by TAS authors and then refined to the point that they become usable without tool assistance.

Cool game. First one was a wrestling game in a fighting game style, this is a fighting game with a wrestling theme. Very fair to prefer one over the other, but both are nice. Too bad there wasn't a 3rd game.

Forget it, I just learned what TAS stands for. Tool Assisted Speedrun. This is obviously all impossible to do real-time.

@@dereknathaniel5316 All of this is possible to do real time, but a TAS is basically the ultimate segmented run. Most of the time, the author is trying to get the computer opponent to behave a certain way (use a specific move while in range for a punish, for example) and then you see those incredible combination attacks.

I played this once in the 90's..
