We traveled to Pittsburgh, PA to go on a Pierogi Food tour last week and we are STILL dreaming about all this amazing food. Each city is known for their iconic dish, and in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania that dish is good ol' fashioned Pierogis! We have all of our amazing eastern European ancestors to thank for this. These recipes have been passed down from generation to generation and in 2021, pierogis are still very much a staple in the western Pennsylvania region.

I make homemade perogies. I don't boil them. I blanch them. It takes about a minute. When they float to the top they are ready and sanitary.

That bar tender was killing it in the backround at the 12:00. I wonder what station she was at, didn't look like normal drinks.

You guys missed out in the Strip. As a life-long Pittsburgher and Eastern Europen who's grandmother cooked homemade peirogis at least once a week, those are the best in the city. Very authentic.

On the topic of former churches now as other businesses, are you familiar with Mr. Smalls in Millvale? We got to tour it in our first Pittsburgh video, as well as the recording studio across the street - both former churches. Really great uses of the spaces!
