The Queen Consort declared that the Christmas season has officially begun as she enjoyed a visit from Santa and his reindeer to Clarence House.
Camilla hosted a party for children and families supported by Helen and Douglas House, which cares for terminally ill children and their loved ones.
Camilla oversaw the children as they decorated her Christmas tree, helped serve lunches for the young ones, before meeting the “four legged friends” outside.

I love how she carries herself without acting hungry for the spotlight and foto ups.
Also, how she just "goes with the flow", allows them to be children, respects them, and is so patient and calm with them, totally not ever flustered.
Yes I love her manner,very humble.
She earned the respect of Queen Elizabeth & Prince Phillip and won them over, that in itself speaks volumes.
That is a large part of Camilla's charm. She's there for her patronages...it's not about her, it is about her work.

I don't know why watching this made me cry, it was very lovely. With the Queen Consort and all those children decorating the Christmas tree then seeing the reindeer as a surprise for the kids.

It was lovely to see Queen Camilla helping children decorate the tree and serving the children treats...she's a loving person, wife, grandmother, mother and charity patron.
It means a lot to the parents and caretakers for these children to be treated with respect and affection.

Queen Camilla doesn't get the recognition she deserves,she is very kind and giving she works tirelessly for many charities we are unaware of,she has been doing this one for a few years,she does all this without fanfare
I couldn't agree more! She's authentic and warm. I admire how gracious and enthusiastic she is working with charities. Working in any arena she is needed in. Oh, and of course her love of books and quick witt!

This is my soft spot. People with disabilities and in this case the children. Thank you to HM Queen Consort, Camilla for this event. It was delightful watching you interacting with the children and their parents.

Camilla seems to be a very loving and compassionate person. She gives of herself without seeking out the camera. I'm glad the children seemed to have a lovely time!
The way she made sure to protect the little girls face from the antlers on the reindeer was such a natural instinct

Seeing the children light up with joy makes me smile. Camilla is a lovely person, I noticed that she doesn't wear glamorous accessories and jewelries all the time and she really don't need to, she wears them in her heart, it is sad that there are still people who don't see it because they refuse to. I agree, I like the red dress... These is a silk antique factory in Florence that produces spectacularsilk fabric and I would love to see her wear a dress made out of this. Cant afford it myself and dont have the occasions, but I would love to see her in a really great dress for the coronation...

Camilla is so down to earth and normal. I loved a comment I heard Camilla say at, I think it was last years Christmas party, or may be the year before. She said something like, take the the left overs home with you when you go, or something to that effect. ..lol. People laughed but she was being deadly serious, like what you would often say at a family Christmas gathering with the family members departing later after the meal - take the left overs home.😄

Diana and Camilla are very different, but please don't compare them!!! Certain attitudes from the past hurt us, not everything went well and perfect, nor did anyone benefit from what happened... Diana died, Charles was not very popular, Camilla was not very popular and they even killed her, when it was all Charles' fault . for not having a little love for two people and playing on two extremes... Obviously it goes without saying that everything bad comes from the Queen Mother (Queen Elizabeth Bowl-Lyon), it was she who did not allow Charles not to marry with Camila and also another who did not allow it was her paternal uncle Mountbatten. (Poor feelings for everyone, Charles mature but indecisive, Diana was a young woman who believed in the stories of her knowing how to be an aristocrat and Camilla seeing how she was rejected and separated from hers, the only love of hers, Charles of hers). My message is not to be in favor of one or the other, but to end certain unnecessary comments after 30 years. It wasn't good, let's not forget it, but let's put the past behind us (it's all written) let's live, they will soon be history when William and Catherine assume the kingship. GOOD JOB CAMILLA.. GOD SAVE THE MONARCHY.

It was an opinion and I think that after 30 years we can forget certain things, and let others pass, for example THE LOVE FAILURE of Carlos and Diana. It was all just unfortunate.
TODAY there is a little respect and that love that must be missing in Carlos and Camila, they are not perfect, there was only REJECTION from that old and structured Royal Family, today everything is more current and modern, times have changed. It must be accepted TODAY. They wanted a change, that today's love was a change. They make a good couple and I think they can have a good reign. Obviously, it would be better if William took over, to make it MORE modern and popular, but it all depends on his timing. Carlos turned 60 preparing for who HE IS TODAY... KING. TIME and respect.
