The refs out here giving out flags like Christmas presents đ
When refs like to exchange gifts for d**ks!!
AZed cardinals are like âmate what are you talking about, this is a regular Sunday evening for usâ
The fact this video is 13 minutes long says a lot about how terrible RTP calls have been all season
The season isnât even over too
Total đđ©
fr underrated comment
Let's also blame the upper management for creating some of these new rules
@@xavierchen7054 Exactly. A lot of these are by the book penalties. Blame the book, not the refs in this case.
"Personal foul, tackling the Brady, ..."
looking at Brady with *ill* *intent*.
@@MusMasibreathing near him wrong
How loud the chiefs crowd got is insane
We hold the world record for loudest stadium for a reason bro lol. I was there that night and had we not won that game, I'm certain there would've been a riot.
They also have a record for chanting đđ©
It was a reeeeeeally shitty call. Not only the Roughing the Passer, but it should have been our ball!
I'm not even a Chief's fan but that ball came out before the supposed roughing, so it still should've been Chief's ball regardless.
Itâs not hard when the stadium is created to literally trap the sound, itâs genius
Chris Jones is the only player in NFL history to be called for Roughing the Passer while possessing the ball.
you would probably get called for roughing the passer now if you intercepted the ball and trucked the QB if he tried to tackle you.
literally. that strip sack was clean, he even tried his best to get off and not put his weight down on Carr
I love the fact the commentator says "What is he supposed to be? Disappear?" đđđ
Tom brady
THE NFL HAS TO GET THIS SHIT FIXED ASAP BEFORE PLAYERS LOSE CAREERS AND COACHES LOSE THEIR JOBS
Just like Kevin Hart said.. its really not that difficult for the defense. Just pull out your pillow, lay it on the ground, pull out your blanket and lay it over the quarterback. Lastly, just read him a bedtime story. I don't understand why its so difficult for the defense to learn this.
These kinds of rules are turning the game into a joke.
These kind of Rules have ALREDY turned the game into a Joke.
The game is getting goofier and goofier, especially with players being so chippy as well. đ
Yes it is. This rule is absurd. Not to mention the way that EVERY REF literally baby's the baby back bitch baby Brady
đ¶
Guaranteed to see Brady on here
Good lord. In my childhood, the kicker was the most protected player. This is how you know the QB is a business owner's most important product.
Itâs crazy how long this video is and that just the terrible rtp calls doesnât include all the other terrible calls
What kills me is when Pickett got slammed onto his head, an actual roughing the passer play, they donât call it..
That Miami one will haunt me for life
Same
Yup
"That is bad at any stage of any game." Whole league is bad at any stage by this point.
these refs need a basic lesson in physics, itâs virtually impossible to decelerate that quickly.
The length of the video says it all. These refs giving out flags like Christmas gifts đ€Šđœââïž
"That's rumpling the jersey, not roughing the quarterback". LOL Great quote.
If you're going to call roughing the passer for grabbing the QB and taking him down, then there has to be an "in the grasp" rule when a player gets a hold on the QB. No more shaking off rushers and running. You're down when they get a hand on you. OR, let them play and only call egregious penalties.
Why don't we all just wear bras and give each other compliments like South Park suggests?
They were all terrible but that last one on Bosa was ridiculous. He hit the qb while he was throwing the ball shoulder pad in the chest and created a pick 6 and gets a flag. These calls are taking away momentum from teams and really changing the outcome of games. It's embarrassing.
If they want to make the game safer to these extremes maybe they should have a weight limit and speed limit while they are at it, it's a joke.
I think there were quite a few more egregious than Bosa's. Geno has been getting the same loving all the other QBs have this year but rarely got a RTP call until then. Plus, 49ers were gonna murder the Seahawks come hell or high water so the only thing that call did was delay the inevitable and maybe hurt a few sports bets. You're definitely right with other games, though. Especially the ones where defense pretty much put a drive away, or even a whole game away only for the refs to throw the flag because a lineman accidentally grazed the QB's D with the back of their glove while getting pile-driven into the dirt by an o-lineman.
Ohio state players are notoriously dirty so I donât care on that one.
You should do a compilation of bad calls to go against each team this season. Worst calls per team. Just to prove every team gets fucked by the refs
Are you sure it happens to every team??
Most of these calls are so sad that it just makes me not want to watch the NFL at times.
The full body weight landing part of roughing the passer is bull shit. That needed to be removed yesterday.
I don't think they realize how difficult it is to try to roll mid air off a qb while trying to get a sack, it's like a matrix move. I also thought it was only a penalty if they landed their weight after the qb threw the ball.
@@KWengSport there were a couple clips where they called the landing full body weight on the qb very shortly after or while sacking them.
Trying to catch your weight and keep it off the QB seems like a good way to sprain a wrist ... and isn't stopping the calls anyway.
William Hayes career pretty much ended after he messed up his leg trying not to land on Derek Carr
@@chrisschack9716 yeah that one dude even put his hands out to catch his weight after the tackle and they still called it on him. just insane
These refs need more training obviously and maybe some time off.Tom Brady has always gotten that call.
is there even a chance that this league is not at least slightly rigged
Nope just look at what they dis to the Colts against the Browns Sunday. Two strip sack turnovers reversed and what happened at goal line in last minute. CRIMINAL
đ Yes
That davis hit on Burrow seemed justified to me
Nahhh I wouldnât call it. Reasons are heâs outside the pocket and can change directions quickly to avoid the hit. Davis lowered his shoulder before the ball was thrown and borrow just flicked it before he got hit. Also Davis didnât hit him in the head or land on him. QBs should also be accountable for protecting themselves. Throw it earlier, go down, go out of bounds, or take the hit.
I love these because I watched the jets vs bills game and saw Mike White get cut in half and they didnât call anything lol
Personal foul: Sacking the quarterback.
Personal foul: not immediately stopping the tackle the second the QB has thrown the ball
Personal foul: Touching Tom Brady
I feel like every year there has to be some controversial play/call/flag/rule that dominates the season & manipulates the flow and outcome of the games. One year it was the tuck rule, one year it was reviewable PI calls, one year it was "what is a catch?", one year it was the fumble again, one year it was reviewable vs no reviewable plays, one year it was tackling with the crown of your head (which was a correct rule change), I guess this year it's RTP. Next year, it'll be something else that allows the ref to gently sway the outcome of the game.
Here's another thought, though: stop signing QBs to massive 9 figure salaries where they're more of an investment property to keep under glass than a dyed in the wool ball player. Use other positions as your "face of the franchise" occasionally and coach with a "next man up" attitude. Keep defensive coordinators on their toes and switch QBs midgame. I know QB by-committee sounds horrifying for some, especially those who play/bet on fantasy football, but it can also keep a young QBs body from deteriorating by aged 29.
Bro the game has turned into 7on7. Also the helmet t helmet calls are bs like the hit on Juju smith Schuster how tf can they pick up that flag, I swear the chiefs get screwed on calls every game it drives me insane đĄ
@@arsaneapex6333 I mean...my post was before today's game but first of all, Chiefs were gonna win today regardless. For that one bad call that supposedly hurt y'all, there were quite a few other calls/no calls that also helped y'all a bunch.
Also still shows how inconsistent they are with RTP calls and certain QBs.
At this point, why don't we just go to Flag Football rules for the quarterback where they wear two flags on their waist and they are "sacked" by the defense grabbing one of them. That way they won't have to take any hits at all.
Pretty much at this point. Every kind of tackle is getting a flag. What's a defender supposed to do to get a sack while also not touching the qb?
I donât know if I havenât noticed it in other years but Iâve been seeing a lot more qbs getting slung down to the ground, I feel like that would be more detrimental to the head of it hits the ground first but I think itâs because of the roughing the passer calls so nfl has created a new problem with new rules
No I've noticed this too. In an effort for not landing on the QB the tackle form is more of a grab and throw to the ground if coming from the side. It's honestly so much worse to watch a QB get slung like that and watch their head bounce off the turf than watching them get absolutely steamrolled by a dude twice their size.
03:55 dang, when even Terry McAulay is questioning a bad call, you know the refs messed up heaps
You can't even tackle someone in football anymore
The first clip was roughing the passer. He took 2 steps after Lawrence threw the ball.
The NFL needs to fire these refs and hire refs that can ACTUALLY ref. They make this league pathetic and sad to watch.
We live in a soft world now đ€ŠđŸââïž
Itâs really sad but itâs true. Canât make this stuff up.
@@twins2484 yeah bro, it kills the excitement about football, wonât be surprised if they start adding females to play on the teams now, watch smh
I did not know the NFL was now a no contact sport for only the QUARTERBACKS
There is definitely an odd and horrible trend of rouging the passers this year.
If i was a ref i would have not called this penalty anymore
As i'm saying when you start to call that typical penalty wrongly every time dont call it anymore
In fact i wouldnt have called flags anymore
Because i feel like its coming to a point where every flag is being called wrongly
When that happens you shouldn't call penalty anymore
There should be a rule where coaches should start challenging penalties
As a chargers fan, I agree đ
I get some of these calls but how are you supposed to tackle someone without putting your weight on them in the end
you are suppose to use your superpowers to overcome the laws of physics
"take the dresses off"
then he got lambasted by media for being sexist LMAO
4:32 -- "Subjective judgment"?? What do you think it was that made the bad call in the first place?
NFL refs are softer than my pillow these days
Your pillow must be rock hard. Hope you donât have sleeping issues because of it
Facts
@@trevenchristensen585 Your daddy a ref???
@@motors-anonymous9783 nah I was just trolling refs are soft this year you right
I remember hearing their solution to this is to review it and eject the player if itâs found that he did do it so if that happens and this is still being called like this weâll have an even bigger issue
Personal foul, Sticking your tongue out at the passer
Honestly they should have refs on field and off field (watching the game on tvs or something) cause at this point its just sad seeing teams get absolutely robbed. At the very least improve the system of reviewing like come on man we sit on our couchâs and see blatant fouls and miss calls its ridiculousđ. Like these RTP calls are getting even worse and worse by the yearđ.
Hey u did my idea đ
The dline stunt they used to sack Brady was poetry in motion and it was designed that way
Just remember the Supreme Court labelled The NFL as entertainment
Let's be honest, at this point they're making it like the QB isn't even allowed to be touched. Personally when they call the QB defenseless I hate it. Nearly every moment of the game he is the most guarded player on the field (I know it means he can't defend himself but come on, they're not some infant about to be curb stomped, treat them like a football player). Of course helmet to helmet (Already a rule) and and targeting their arm on the way down to the ground or going out of your way to injure it (I believe should be the main concern of roughing the passer, just harder to decern), but they're playing football, you're going to be tackled, you're going to be hurt. Be a man and take it.
This is why its hard for me to put any of these new school qbs on a goat list
Biggest problem with the rule is the bodyweight part. Needs to be removed from that rule asap.
âHey I know you are a 300 pound D-Linemen, but can you defy gravity for me?â
@@s0urnicate Not that hard to pull to the left or right.
@@Anonymous-wg5cz Yeah, and then defensive players get injured. It's a Catch-22 with the "Roughing the Passer" rule.
5:08 Hahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahaha oh plz dnt make me laugh my ribs hurt
U know itâs bad when the side that benefits from the call also boos. Iâm assuming that was the chargers crowd booing in the Miami chargers game.
literally whatâre you supposed to do while tackling the quartback
Quarterbacks can basically call their own penalties. Lawrence raises his hands after the play? Must mean I should throw a flag. Brissett stumbles and flails his arms? Guess that's a penalty. On and on...
i feel like the tua situation had a hand in refs throwing these flags but its to a point were u cant even sack the qb
The best part is listening to the announcers try to defend these horrible calls.
A lot of them didnât
Most of them don't
so the tangle on tua from the bengals does not count?
This is the only football I watch anymore, this CZcams channel, because anymore football since 1986 has become absolutely ridiculous. Listen to the owners and the commissioner after the Superbowl where the Bears played New England in 1986. The commissioner said publicly, this will never happen again, and for the most part is has not. The next football season is when a lot of the close games started mostly between the rivals. Yes I am one of those that thinks the football games are fixed as much as they possibly can without everyone being in on it.
What sport has fixed games: Soccer, Boxing, Basketball, Tennis, Hockey, Baseball, College Football. The NFL is just making more obvious now but as long as people continue to support them, they will continue to do this kind of crap.
RTP needs to be a blatant foul, not breathing on them. This shit is getting ridiculous and is one reason why a good chunk of folks have stopped watching the NFL.
QBs have pads also!
The joe burrow one was roughing the passer though
New rule play is dead as soon as the defender gets hands on the qb đ€Łđ€Łđ€Łđ€Ł
We now know what RTP is as much as we know what a catch is in this league
"Personal foul, unnecessary roughness, #90 roughing the passer by thinking bad thoughts about him, though he didn't touch him, ball will be placed 99 yards from the spot of the foul, first and goal".
QB should win Oscar all of them
Refs need to start being fair like seriously these are fair hits
I understand the putting your weight on a qb , but as a defensive player when youâre rushing a qb youâre trying to get to him before that ball comes out and thatâs all that is on your mind when youâre inches from him throwing the ball , referees expects these guys to lightly nudge them to the ground.
Putting your body weight on someone is how you tackle
I am surprised that this video isn't 1h long
When the QB has to ask the ref, who's the penalty on? It's not roughing the passer, give me a freaking break,I hate when they like add a stipulation to a penalty the refs always go overboard. The sack and strip fumble on Carr is complete bullshit,I can't believe anyone could take such an awesome play away from a person it's unreal, the refs should be held accountable for mistakes like these
The chiefs technically can challenge it since the play was blown dead after Jones got the football
And it would be a fumble no fumble challenge
You canât tell me the nflâs integrity is compromised. You canât tell me some key people are making big bets on teams with shitty O lines somehow influencing the refs to call RTP calls when a QB takes a sack to try and keep the game in a betted on teamâs favor.
That your theory relies on a nebulous "somehow influencing" is a problem. Fix that if you want me to take it seriously.
âBody weightâ has to be the stupidest rule Iâve ever heard of. Like yeah football is basically just CTE central and it needs to be addressed but to make a âyou canât tackle someone and put your body weight on themâ rule is just so stupid. Just make it 2 hand touch.
I wonder how long of a video it would be for the ones that DIDN'T get called but should have.
That would be a 2 hour video just from a week of games.
@@Ho4130x of just roughing the passer? That was what I meant by that. If it was all, I could see a good 5 hours from just one week, not 2.
I hope the rumor that they're going to be allowed to review these like the college does with targeting is true because this is ridiculous
They need to let coaches challenge roughing the passer
The NFL will introduce a round ball into the game soon, the way that some of those QBs go to the ground.
Itâs not so much the referees making bad calls as the RTP rules being badâŠmost of the calls made were in accordance with the NFL Rulebook
The QB flop is gonna drive a lot of fans away from the game. Get in a 3rd and long position... let a defense player threw the line and he touchs the QB. 15 yard penalty, and a first down.
The issue with these kinds of things is that vast majority of NFL fans never played football on any level. You can make anything look egregious at .25x speed. In the real world its a very violent game where your friends get bones broken laying up trying to take it easy in practice. The NFL (and UFC) are the modern day gladiators. Shit happens fast on the field. You think faster than you blink. That split second is the difference between a game sealing interception and a completion to win it.
I am not going to lie, the roughing the passer call against Brady was đđ©
One QB I hate to watch playing is Josh Allen. When he's running the football he goes out of his way looking for contact but when he's in the pocket and gets hit he flops more than a fish out of water. To be that big and carrying on like that you would think he would be ashamed of himself but I doubt it
1:00 You'll call Grady Jarrett for RTP, but completely ignore the obvious holding by the Buccaneers left tackle??
I like how Brady and Mahomes got sacked in *exactly* the same way. But because Brady is Brady and Carl Cheffers hates the Chiefs, one gets called and one doesn't.
this! i might be biased as a chiefs fan, but thereâs been a ton of hits on mahomes all year that would be called rtp for brady or a number of different quarterbacks in the league this year.
These are technically right with the horrible rule change about landing on the QB
Funny how none of the 2 hits on Kenny Pickett (both resulted in concussions) were not on hereâŠ.
Oh wait, itâs because neither were called.
Wow these CZcamsrs are unbelievable. Thereâs a list of Horrible Roughing the Passer calls and itâs all on CZcams đź
Refs should be fined for making the wrong calls and based on the severity of how bad the call was and should be investigated after each game to see if theyâre partaking in any parlays or anything of that nature
ATP they might as well being playing FLAG footballâŠthese call are get more ridiculous đ€Šđœââïž
Missing the ones of Joey bosa cracking mahomes
Cant hit them high, cant hit them low, cant bat passes, cant throw them to the ground. Pass rushers are being killed by the rules
Every ref needs to put on full equipment and play roughing the referee lol
They need to just put flags on the QB. That would even things out.
Trevor Lawrence flopping... Good lord
The only one that I would say was worthy of the call was the one on burrow
At min 5:36 I thought i was watching soccer for a sec
This is just turning into QBs flipping like it is the fucking NBA.
I'm done goodbye forever NFL
Just make sacks illegal at this point.
Itâs sad that this video is 13 minutes
