In 2016 I upgraded from Moto e1 4 GB to Moto G4 Plus 32 GB and so far it has been a great experience. Moto Phones after the G4 series have changed a lot. They lack water resistance and build has degraded. Lenovo animations have made the UI worse.
They haven't gotten worse, now they just have great designs and cameras, you can't honestly say that any Moto g or e or even x under Google had a better camera or style than the g6.
This is actually not just a review its a full detailed review. You covered each and every aspect in this video. Now this is what we know iGyaan for. Great, thumbs up for me. 🤘

This is a very high quality and nicely done video. You didn't talk too fast either. I enjoyed watching it! Have had a Moto G6 about a week and I am so sorry I bought it. There is no light notification on the phone telling you if you have received a text, call or email like there was on my previous older Moto. I missed a dinner invitation tonite because of no notification light. Do you think the dorks at Lenovo can fix this on an update soon?

Lenovo has completely ruined Moto. The software experience is no longer as smooth as it used to be. The situation of updates is awful. Even the last year's G series devices, Moto G5+ and Moto G5s+ have not yet received the Oreo update as promised even after the developer beta for Android 9 has been launched. I am a Moto G5+ user and would not recommend anyone to buy Moto G6 if you think you'll get fast updates.
Suryansh Sugandhi I'm not getting it for updates. If I want updates I can slap a custom rom and it will be easy to find them since it's a SD processor. I also like the features wich unfortunately are nonexistent in my current Nokia 6 :-(
Moto had released a statement saying that they won't provide more than one update for their budget phones
I can't really compare as I didn't own an old moto (under google) but jumping from a 4.5 year old Nexus 5 I don't think the software is anywhere near that bloated... specially compared to a Samsung A8 I got and returned in a day.... the update situation is regrettable but at least having standard hardware the custom ROM community is active on it.... I am certain I will be able to root and update after it runs out of warranty... again, not something I can say for Samsung's Exynos line

SD450 & SD625 are basically the same SoC if you do a versus search on Google you can see for yourself. The difference is really miniscule. I think it's a $199 US dollar phone...not $250. Great thorough review!
For the price I like the design and the features seems good enough too.. all in all I like the mobile
In the us my Moto g6 runs a very stock Android 8 and while it probably won't be a fast update it does guarantee at least one update which is still reassuring to me as long as the phone lasts me that long

Superb video. Looks wise phone is superb, it got decent performance too. But had there been a better processor at the price it is offered at, it could have done a lit well in market.

please tell me, which app to use for recording Video calls with audio. I tried many screen recording apps, but as you kno that there is only 1 speaker for both calls and multimedia, no app is able to record audio of the video call.

I don't agree with you on quick updates.... Bought G5 plus last year and it still runs on android 7.0 not even 7.1... God knows when they will release oreo update... which has be launched a year ago... I bought the device only because of stock android and quicker updates... but i am very disappointed with motorola or lenovo whatever it is.... never gonna buy these devices again...

Thank God I chose mi a1 over g5s plus which got it's Oreo update in December- January and still gets monthly security updates. It has it's flaws too but still better than this Moto under Lenovo

know not why people say Motorola's quality under lenovos ownership has degraded.. i have been using them consistently. they never miss a beat in the long run. they are quite reliable. after all I have become a permanent motorola fanboy. its always my first choice nowadays. no chinese. sorry!!!!

You say in this video that the 15999 model of moto g6 comes with 3GB of ram and 64GB storage. Instead it comes with 4 GB of ram and 64 GB of storage.
Hey Bharat, I just wanted to tell you that one of my friend got the G6 yesterday and he has uninstalled all the bloatware (PhonePe, LinkedIn etc.). I think the 'bloatware problem' is with your device only.
