Been Testing out the new Ray-Ban Meta Smart Glasses for their 2nd iteration, and I think they really nailed it. Image quality is OK but mics sound really good and ease of use can't be beat. Setup is a breeze and everything just seems to work. Wish there was a little more control of the image, different formats and a live link to check your framing but the world of glasses with cameras is still new. I have a hunch we will be seeing cameras in more wearables moving forward and our world will turn into a place where EVERY single interaction is recorded. Is that good or bad? We shall see! (pun intended) 👀

Did any of the problems that killed Google Glass get solved? Privacy, legal and creepiness? The frames and tech refresh seem to fix none of these.
No clue, sorry. It is meta/facebook and we know how well they have done with our privacy in the past 👎. I have just given into the thought of no more privacy now. With cameras in wearables, it wont be long before every interaction we have will be recorded by someone. Hello 1984! Thanks for watching and the comment, good things to think about with these glasses

The images from the glasses are far better than I thought they would be. Obviously not IPhone quality, but tech is moving quickly.
Next gen will likely be a lot better. Give it ten years we will all have something strapped to our faces. Glassholes everywhere.

'Glasshole' is not mine, I thought it was fairly common back in the days of Google-glass, still they look a lot more inconspicuous than back then.
Won't be too long before Apple's attempt is shrunken down into something everyone is going to be using.

It’s a shame they die so fast… they could have added an optional back strap that has added battery time - clean and clear but that’s a bummer. Clear video and fun review and likeable as always 👍
Thanks man, I appreciate the kind words and you checking out the video. The battery is kind of a bummer and that is the one thing that’s always happening to me with them. I’m getting down to 14% really fast if I am trying to get shots and video clips. they do charge up pretty fast and it takes about 30 minutes to get back to 100%, nothing wrong with taking a little break for snacks. Apart from battery life, the other negative I see is not being able to shoot in landscape. Otherwise these are amazing.
I am pretty addicted to these thing now. Not just for taking video also, listening to music, chatting, driving. A really innovative product, and same price as a gopro. Thanks for watching and the comment!
@@TheFloodLightShowI went to the store to check it out in person and I'm probably definitely going for it as well. If this version already allowed shooting in landscape then it would've replaced Go Pro for many people I suppose.
