The biggest challenge owning a pair of Wayfarer's (I supposed it's also true for Headliners too) was having to send the frames out for prescription lenses, and for me, that was a very long 2 weeks of waiting. 😊
Once you upload the photos onto the app does it erase them from the glasses? This is to conserve memory. Like Iphone if I put my photo in a folder but delete the picture in my album it also deletes it from my folder.
I just recently purchased a pair of these wore them to the Indian Wells tennis tournament last Sunday and I got an error message sunglasses too hot to record video, um.

Nice review, informative and the conversational style works very well. When Google Glasses came out there was concern about privacy. Obviously, our phones and smartwatches record things about us. However, smart glasses are focussed on photos and videos of others and can be done without the person's consent. Did you feel any concern or have any reaction from other people regarding privacy (I'm sure it wouldn't take much to remove the 1monbbideo limit, increase storage and disable the camera light at some point). Google glasses didn't get far in our trials largely due to poor battery life. Add bone conduction for the speakers and a display on the inside of the glasses (which would be more visible and potentially disconcerting for people), increase memory capacity, perhaps even scent detection at some point and these could be very interesting.
Thanks Andrew. Privacy is indeed a concern, not least of all because this is a Facebook product! That's kinda the gamble, but it seems that society is more ready at this point than we were when Google Glass was released. I'm sure Facebook/ Meta has everything you mentioned on their roadmap, this product has done surprisingly well! Nope stays on the glasses after importing to your phone, but you can delete them from the app if you want.

How durable is the glasses?
I think the audio levels were a bit low for this one as I had to raise my volume a bit compared to other YT videos.
