    So it's basically a delicate piece of electronic equipment that needs to be handled with care and not bashed on the ground a 1000 times like typical carbon ones. Also so deep dive into the motors should help us understand the efficiency of DJIs motors and Crack the code behind those obnoxiously long flight times.

    Way easier than it looks actually. Replaced both front and rear arms. Got myself a decent soldering iron, that helps a bunch. Also the wire wrap for holding the cables in place was the biggest pain. Replace the thermal pad on top of the power distributor, since the original one fell apart. Looking forward to go flying again! Thanks for your video again! :)

    Dude you are a legit life savior!!! I couldn’t find the metal bracket ANYWHERE!! Like the one that holds the flight controller and other boards. I’ve been searching for a good month now, and came across you guys because I was trying to get a picture of the bracket to see if anyone in the drone Facebook groups had one laying around and low and behold you had it in stock!! Sucks that it’s from the UK, and I’m in the US, but I’ll take long shipping times over not being able to find it at all.
    Anyways, thank you again! You saved me at least 200 dollars since I don’t have to send it to DJI.
    Also, quick question, does that metal bracket come with thermal paste like it shows in the picture, or do I need my own. If I do need my own, can I use normal computer thermal paste, as I have some laying around from my pc build, or do I need some super special DJI secret paste?

    Excellent video, very helpful. Thumbs up subscribed to channel. Looks as though if the arms get broken it would break the main frame also. It would have been nice if they had some kind of break away feature so that only the arm would be damaged. Hopefully all the parts will be available. I am sure someone will buy full units and the parts. I may consider it more now because of this video. I would only use it for cruising and be more unlikely to crash.

    Awesome video thanks for saving us money! Although if you guys dont have enough time try Gorilla epoxy 2 components glue. It seems like perfectly loves the plastic material of this drone. • @JeremyBreeden89
      @JeremyBreeden89 Před 7 měsíci +1

      The epoxy will last just as long as a brand new replacement part as long as it’s applied correctly. A lot of people don’t like going this route because it looks tacky. Myself on the e other hand IDC how it looks and have used it to fix other drones on the past but I’ve luckily never crashed this drone into anything solid to break it yet lol. I did accidentally fly it into the river at about 60mph one day though 😂I completely disassembled and cleaned/dried everything with alcohol and let it sit apart for about a week in front of a fan just to be certain everything had dried. I reassembled it and if I hadn’t been the one to sink it In the river, I would never know that it had been underwater.

      I am not sure yet so I havent put any captions on to correct it , but it may be a buzzer rather than a mic. Initially thought it is a mic as some pilots like having a mic on their fpv drones to hear the sound like you would listen to a car engine as you can identify issues and abort the flight before something happens in the air.

    Crashed mine, wasn't paying attention to low battery and it tried to return to home through a bunch of tree branches😅 it sounded like a chainsaw crew up there, and then it did some insane bounces over and over on the soccer field.. of course no one was there to film it for your enjoyment😢
