Was just playing this this morning.
Just some flat out good ol rock and roll. Love some AC-DC
From an old guy who tends to focus on blues, Hendrix, Zep, EC, etc. and who only in the past few years decided to start playing more "modern" rock, I appreciate your teaching style and sharing efforts. Nice job!
Yes,,, he is a great teacher! :-)
This is more of a 'Malcolm' riff than Angus. Just saying. Macolm bakes the cake and Angus adds the frosting - for the most part.
Great comment. Lol.
Even Angus would agree!
I wanna learn to play keyboard & guitar. I love AC/DC have for years! Have a drink on me was one of my faves and still is to this day! Rock in peace Malcolm!
That is a great lesson man, you not only have a good tone and the right notes, but you have the right "feel"...sounded awesome!

Great lesson man!
How you doing John? I always catch your fantastic guitar lessons and forget to comment, so. This is definitely one of AC-DC's more involved song and I love it. I haven't played this song in awhile so I needed a refresher course, thank you John. Keep rocking. Peace.
Very good tutorial , nailed it perfectly
You do a very good job of showing hand placement & explaining things.

Very good, i will check it out and rock the neighbours.....
Hey John, Thanks for the great lesson!! Any chance of getting the Solo's? There's no one on here that teaches the solo. I'm sure you would do it justice by teaching it. Thanks again! Aloha and Mahalo from Maui!!
This song is the song for BON, that is why it is sooo bluesy. and Malcolm wrote this lick, like most.
The "Mister Rogers" of guitar lessons...and that's not a bad thing...
sweet vest!
That looks good Jon!! , Do you have the solo for this I don't see it anywhere online as a lesson My eyes ain't what they used to be So I sure would appreciate a step by step lesson if you have it.. Thanks in advance and keep up the good work Jake P
I must say you do an excellent job on this song which is one of my alltime favorites đ the only thing I want to mention is when I listen to it trying to learn it, it sounds like there is a note change during the verse and not just a running A . I haven't seen this in any tabs and they are all played the same as you, but I swear there is a subtle change that sounds like from A to 2 other notes??
Could it be because of the bass line which causes friction to that A-riff in the verse?
Ya, i thought of that after too. Sounds like the bass hits the G and D while Malcolm and Angus stay on the A. Much appreciated đ

Love the goldtop
Right on. Thanks for watching.
Hi John, first of all: Thanks so much for putting this great video-tutorial online for free, really appreciate it :-)
There are some questions I got:
I got a Gibson Les Paul Studio (stock pickups) + a Marshall MG15CFX amp, is it possible to get this great sound you use in your tutorial with my "hardware" or do you need a (marshall) tube amp (+ effects maybe?!) to get such a typical AC / DC sound.
What gear (and settings) do you use?!
Would be great to get an answer to my questions.
Take care
Thomas

i have to agree with Elliott Nunez here, love that its instruction, minimal if any superlative chatter. Not trying to be nit picky but maybe turn the camera a scoatch more towards the neck/left/fretboard hand, sometimes hard to see fingering, even still we get it eventually. Again thanks for the breakdown of this entire album; SOOOO much fun to play hard rocking blues. Thanks once more. MG
A cool men
How can I see the rest of the " Back in Black "videos?
Here's the link Patrick.
