    I had no idea how expensive some of these go for, I saw one MJ rookie card go for 40k on ebay! A set of six MJ rookie cards rated PSA 10, gem mint went for 240k on ebay! INSANE! Wish I collected these when I was younger, oh well!

    There have been 2 perfect 10 rookies graded so far. One sold for $150,000 and the other for $100,000 :)

    anything you send to PSA, if you don't like the grade, open the seal and resubmit and spend a couple of more dollars and you have a chance of getting a better grade and it being worth thou$and$ more

    So if Beckett stamp the card or just don't return it they just escape vandalism and/or theft charges?

    I got 4 the other day and they look legit to me but I’m pretty new to this and they were in a frame with a big card or picture of mj with a
    game worn piece of jersey but they were in a card sleeve taped to the picture frame for display… would b kinda crazy if they were real and I came across 4 how would I go about getting them checked out

      I think for 1 card it is $33. For a lot of a think 100 cards it's $6 or $7 per card.

    So I have a question I have that exact same card everything appears to be 100% real but mine seems to have his autograph in like silver or gold on the front of it do you have any idea what this means it’s not the 23 karat gold card 10th anniversary either it is printed in 86 by fleer I would be more than happy to send pictures but I cannot find anything on this thing and I’m afraid to send it off to get graded so anyone who could let me know something that would be greatly appreciated

    Fleer printed millions of these 86 basketball cards. On average there was 3 to 4 Jordans a box. Not rare at all, just over inflated. 52 Topps mantle, now thats rare.

    I would give anything if I would have kept the one that I had because I know for a fact that it was real because I pulled it out of a pack in 1986 when I was 13 years old at this toy shop called toytown my dad bought me one pack that day for I think 58 cents and Larry Bird was on the box and I wanted to hit Larry Bird so bad I stood right there and opened it never hit a bird I took them home through them in a box and then a few years later I was in a card shop and and the guy had a Michael Jordan in his case for $100 and I got really excited because I remembered seeing that guy in that pack of cards that Dad bought me and I did not know who Michael Jordan was lol back then but I kept that card for a very long time and I sold it 10 or 12 years ago and man I wish I had that card back not just because it was Michael Jordan but because of the story behind and that my dad bought it for me that day for 58 cents out of an original 1986- 87 fleer box man I wish I would have known and made dad buy that whole box that day LOL

    • @32toddv
      @32toddv Před 5 lety +3

      @@donkeefe6222 he is saying it was trimmed to make the edge sharp. As if the edges or a edge was worn or frayed.
      But if trimmed, becket will state that, and not give it a grade.
