As usual another informative video. Ever since you introduced the Sonar program I have been using it on my small x35 coil on 7,7Hrz and sens on 97. It has been smashing field that I have been walking on for a few years and it goes deep. Happy Eastern to you and yours Gary
Awesome video GARY. Small adjustments little tweaks that’s the deus. Regardless of the ground conditions there’s always some program you can tweak so you can still detect. Never tried sonar, but I will definitely be giving it a go. Thanks for the info Gary.
I was out on a similar field yesterday using sonar, winkled out a small hammie. I was just think how a few more reactivity divisions would be useful. Maybe 10. Nice video, thanks for uploading

Hi John Thanks for your kind words. If using single frequency you may need to turn the tone breaks up to around 25 to help eliminate the wet sand. On dry sand the standard settings are worth a try.👍🤝

You are the King of the Deus, I’ve watched so many of your tutorial and digging videos, can’t wait to see you meld with the new machine. I have one on order so go away pandemic, fly them bad boys across the pond, it’s relic hunting season in VA. I’m going on my 48th year detecting, started when I was 13. It’s getting harder to find places to go and I can’t dig like I used to, but it’s the greatest hobby ever, it pays you back monetarily, it’s great exercise, and great for the mind to reduce stress. I have an Short question to Groundbalance(Yes i have seen your Videos to that😉): you told in your Videos that i cant Discriminate hot rock, if i look into the manual of the deus there is an Discline at Page 8 that tells me i can do it if i raise up the Disc over -5.0 🤔 that means to me i can Groundbalance the deus over pumpin to the soil of an Field with Grundreadingnumber of 76, raise up the Disc to Knock-out the hotrock and if the deus is to instabile raise up the Groundbalance slowly to stabilise(Everything without Shake value). i don't Call an hot Rock my own so i cant Check it. 🤔🤔🤔
I don't know why, but i have the feeling that artefakts like this Roman fiebel come better at "lower" Frequencys... may it be that the different Materials have different Frequencys to give an better answer to the Detector? Could be nonsens havend made a list of find's an Frequencys...

No it's different -6.4 discrimination works in full tomes ground will give a low tone.
Actual ground balance works with a positive audio.
