Both games look so similar because they were built in the same Sport engine. No surprise
I'll be sticking to sport. Not near enough better things on gt7 to make me spend 60 bucks on a game that is basically the same thing, and does some things even worse

Exactly what I was most afraid of before I bought this game happened. The graphics are cool, career mode is great! But the damn external camera is still fixed in the middle. Kazunori Yamauchi why did you do this to everyone who likes to play on the external cam? I thought the external cam configuration would be at least the same as the GT Sport and I was very disappointed to see that they took the camera's sensitivity to 0.0 I hope Sony together with Polyphony Digital do an update immediately! Kazunori Yamauchi For God's sake, set the external camera's sensitivity to 0.0 at least and put an option to put a round speedometer on the right side of the screen when we turn off all this information that is below the car. Update Now! I can't take this anymore.

100% agree. We need the sensitivity level 0. The minimum is 1 in GT7 whilst GTS let you set it to 0.

This is laughably underwhelming in 2022.
Why is GT still the only racing game you can not view the side of the car in external third person view mode. Other games you can literally rotate camera around car to admire while driving it.

I didnt even know or hear about this update and i just so happened to be doing my daily “workout” races on GT7 and i flicked the right stick …i had to rub my eyes like whaaaa??? For a min i thought i was playing forza, hahaha finally! Thanks for posting as i could not find my old comment regarding this.

You guys must be blind or something, or playing GT7 on a standard PS4, if not playing on a potato PC, or playing in 480p TV or monitor. Because omg, if you play in a decent TV on PS5, you can clearly see the same graphics they showed us on the trailers and teasers, like I said, must be blind..

It's all very mind-blowing and impressive. And yet there's no animations for the horns and the clutch..
Gt sport looks more natural to me, especially the windshield. Rain is quite mediocre in Gt7 and a simple modder can make better rain in AC than AAA company, strange. Also the sound of droplets inside the cockpit is a bit too much in Gt7. But one must consider dynamic weather which is huge improvement over sport. I hope for better physics and sound too in Gt7.

Sport all day! My friends were all like oh yh my car has this much bhp anti lag etc playing gt7 but really when you think about it they have just done the power upgrades as individual items.

Sport looks much better than 7, but neither nails down the 'grounding' of vehicles to roadway. You can STILL see the road being fed to you and all you're doing is changing the orientation of the map (road and environment) as it approaches you.
Agreed, cars look like they're floating in GT, something that's unacceptable for a game that claims to be a simulation.

LOL, this is just a illusion from the static camera that is completely fixed to the car so it's looks like the environment is passing through you and not you moving through the environment. This is why in GT I prefer cockpit or over the hood cameras. The refusal of Polyphony Digital to put any short of moviment into the third person camera like others games (closing in a little when you break, moving far a little when doing acceleration, tilting a little to the side to give the impression of g-forces and also allows you to see a little more of the curve in turns, etc) make it very very strange.

Facts this game is def not worth 70$ imo especially after paying 80$ at launch for steel book gt sport smh plus it requires always online check so no point in having the disk anymore so will wait for dual entitlement 25th anniversary version to go on a nice deep sale once updates have rolled out and i finish playing in GT Sport.

Aconteceu exatamente o que eu tinha mais medo antes de comprar esse jogo. O gráfico tá bacana, modo carreira está ótimo! Mas a maldita câmera externa continua fixa no meio. Kazunori Yamauchi porquê você fez isso com todos que gostam de jogar na cam externa? Achei que a configuração da cam externa iria ser ao menos igual ao GT Sport e tive uma grande decepção ao ver que tiraram a sensibilidade da câmera 0.0 Espero que a Sony junto com a Polyphony Digital façam uma atualização imediatamente! Kazunori Yamauchi Pelo Amor de Deus coloque ao menos de volta a sensibilidade da câmera externa 0.0 e coloque uma opção de por um velocímetro redondo no lado direito da tela quando desligamos todas essas informações que ficam abaixo do carro. Atualização Já! Não aguento mais isso.
Why is gt7 cockpit view so dark?
Probably trying to display a more realistic exposure
Technically that’s more realistic because your eyes would adjust to the really bright surroundings and prevent you from seeing dark interior areas. Ray tracing is keeping the light off of those areas as well.

The graphics haven't improved much except the lighting, Forza Horizon 5 (also cross gen) is definitely better looking. The cars still look like they're floating, they need to fix that.
LOL, Forza is a toy - nothing realistic or beautiful here. Just relax and fun - which is very good too, but never ever you can beat Japanese genius developers.

Gran Turismo Sport spielt sich besser , habe gerade das Gran Turismo 7 gekauft und bin enteuscht.....hätte mehr erwartet. Das Auto tionen mach doch trotzdem Spass und die Geräusche von auto Motoren sind besser. damit man wieder Spass haben kann muss man ziemlich weit kommen und viel Geld haben um Autos tuning zu machen.

(no turning it off or put it small on the side like GT4),
