Something that never happens on the Bob Newhart Show. Nope, they never got cured on the show. Which they mocked on Newhart when "Mr Carlin" shows up with a new psychiatrist (played by Melanie Chartoff), and the psychiatrist blamed his mental condition on "some quack in Chicago." 🤣🤣
They must have come right off of taping the daytime show shortly before doing this one on that particular day. When it came to daytime game shows back then, they often taped five episodes in a day.
