Super Mario World 4 Life! 😁 Took me like a year to complete it when I had an SNES, then about 10 years later I downloaded a SNES emulator for PC and whipped through SMW in a week! I liked how the PC emulator allowed you to save the game at exact points instead of the last time you crossed an in-game save point. Every time I got to a difficult spot where I'd die, I'd save the game so it was a simple press of F7 (or whatever it was) to reset it right where I was.

Super Mario World is one of my all time favorites as well! That one came a bit later for me but I remember when I first started playing it, I was hooked on it. PC emulators have definitely made things a bit easier but almost taken some of the challenge out of it. But it's awesome to create save states when you need to! Heck, Donkey Kong Country 2 was much worse when it came to saving, I don't miss its saving system at all but I absolutely loved the game!

@@TommyViper I had the first DKC on SNES, don't think I ever finished it, honestly. I was way more into WWF Royal Rumble/RAW and Ken Griffey Baseball back then. Oh yeah, and trying to learn the MDK codes on Mortal Kombat. I remember selling my SNES and going a few years until I bought a N64. Golden Eye, SMB64, Vigilante 8, NFL Blitz, DK64, Banjo Kazooie, WCW Revenge, and WWF No Mercy were the ones I had a blast playing, probably forgetting a few. Actually held onto that one until 5 or so years ago. The retro game store I sold the N64, cartridges, controllers, rumble packs, memory packs, etc. to gave me enough $$ to buy a trailer hitch for my 12 Impala, so there's that..

@@CertifiedShadetree I've never fully finished the original DKC but I did #2 and 3. I actually still have both of my systems but I haven't powered them up in quite some time. I remember having a blast with SM64 and Goldeneye as well! At least you were able to get enough money for your Impala!

@@TommyViper Yeah, I'm pretty sure I squeaked in right before that shop became saturated with old game cartridges. I noticed in recent years they began transitioning more towards trading cards and Pokemon and away from games and DVD/BluRay's. I guess they need to go where the demand is to stay afloat, as the nostalgia craze has died down and nobody buys physical media anymore. I used to take my 2 stepsons there almost weekly and they were using it as their personal ATM with all the games they'd sell and/or trade! 🤣 I bought Madden '13 and WWE All-Stars one time we were there and the 3 of us parlayed that into a winter filled with competition and tournaments. Was trying to show them how we played back in the day, with 1-3 others IN THE SAME ROOM!! 🤣🤣
