Another awesome video Eddie definitely killing it. Haven’t tried any of the Bilt Hamber definitely have done the APC rinse though ,good stuff and appreciate your hard work.
Thank you so much!
👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 I was wondering when ADS was gunna drop an APC… thats pretty exciting… i look forward to watching more testing 👊🏽
Ya im still testing it well see how it turns out!
Hit 5k! Congrats Eddie 🎉👏🏼
Onto 10k and UP 🙌🏼

THIS IS WHAT WE WANT! Thanks Eddie :D
Great demo!
Thank you
Oh, shoot, getting a treat this Wednesday morning.
Thanks for watching!
Another great video!!! Point well taken Eddie!!!
Thanks for watching bro
Thanks Eddie. I use an apc not a touch less more because the price. I run a small detailing business from home so I watch every penny I spend. I still need and want to do the best I can but just fornthe cheapest I can so I use an apc pre wash when the vehicle is super dirty. Thank you for proving I am doing things the correct way.
Congratulations on 5,000 subscribers. I have been having good results with APC cleaning too. I do not want to do math when detailing and APC is pretty simple to calculate. Great video teaching all of us detailers!
Thanks Neil I appreciate you so much and apc are soo good
Road to 6k , congrats Eddie 🎉

Thanks for all you do! The Detailing Gospel According to Eddie 🔥
Our pleasure!
I’m a long time Bilt Hamber user but I enjoy products pushing others. We all win.
Touchless v2 was good , ive almost used up all of v1 then started using APC's I think right now the price for v2 5l is 60 bucks
@@Ecdetails$43 for V2 5L

@@Ecdetails OG Store, but from what I understand he’s pushing to get other distributors in USA (ie Car Supplies Warehouse, Detailed Image, Autogeek, etc.).
OG is the sole importer for the US now. He will have Touch-Less, Traceless, Atom Mac and the clay bars in the OG store. The full line will be available through Bilt Hamber's website, but will be fulfilled by OG. They are also going to work with other distributors that want it once stock gets built up.
Price is $43 from OG, but actual shipping cost gets passed along (unless you're a Hex Plus member) so it ends up being essentially the same as Carzilla with "free" shipping, depending on where you live.
Bussin video, out here doing God's work!
Thanks Fred!
I saw a video where Starnjagloss Forst (APC) did better than Touch-less…I think I’m good with an APC rinse…great review Eddie!!! Perfect treat mid week!!!
FORST is stout , ya for me apc depending does a great job
I love the realness bro
Thank you
5000! good job! congratulations
Thanks! 😃 bro appreciate you
Eddie, I love your tests.
Thank you sir I appreciate it
Love the info , was really starting to look into touchless . No idea why since I was just adding APC to PH neutral soaps when the cars were extra dirty .
Thanks for watching bro I appreciate you and hope all is good
Great video! I agree with you APC for pre treatment on extremely dirty vehicles is the way to go. I ❤ bilt hamber products but they are expensive & you must use a lot of product per wash. I use an APC pre wash when appropriate. ( kcx green star or msn). Thank you for sharing all of this information
Thanks for the v1 of bilt hamber I appreciate it
@@Ecdetails thank you 🙏 for all your generosity to me & the community
Tim! you can use this in a spray bottle like an APC. 20 mL in a 1000mL bottle gives you a 2% dilution that is just as effective as foaming it on!
Great video. Would like to add about safety. Touch-less is really safe but apc’s do stain - it is easy to do. If you are working outside then take care of the sun when doing an apc prewash.
Ill need to test that vs primus
It’s like Christmas morning every day I wake up to a new video from Eddie 🫶🏻

Ay yo! Over 5000!? Congrats

Awesome!

wooo hooo
I have been using bilt hamber for a couple of years. The crazy thing is it is very gentle on all my different spray sealants. While cleaning as good as a much more aggressive chemical.
Its a good soap and it did good removing everything from the truck
Yeah the formulation is much easier on LSPs than an APC is. Not all pH is created equal.
It’s worth noting that because BH is made in the UK it’s A LOT cheaper here and therefore is good value for money, hence its popularity. It’s also sugar-based (unlike an APC) which means it’s much kinder to the environment and is safe to be rinsed away with causing problems to waterways and surrounding ecosystems 😊
Do you know that I brought trace less based on your recommendation best glass cleaner I’ve ever used in my life thanks for that. Also it’s like what John said about ads it’s to much cause of the tariff , shipping etc

My dad's van has no coating and has been getting undercoated by Rust Check and has some oil on the body, what would you recommended for a pre wash to soften the oil up? Thanks Eddie, for what you do, love your page. Watching from Ontario Canada!!
I would get Touch-less, KCX SF , KCX MSN , as some heavy hitters
@@Ecdetails Thanks my friend!!
I've boosted my soaps with Greenstar in the past and have also used Forst and they both have performed well getting rid of contaminates. The only true tests I have done thus far are SNO and Frostbite foamed on the surface, rinse and then followed up with a rinseless wash and both of those times I had extremely minimal dirt on my towels. I prefer these soaps over an APC because of ease of use with one product for simplicity versus multiple products and dilution ratios. Plus they're ready to go for the next quick wash as well!
Never tired Sno , illl have to give it a gander appreciate you sharing it man I love hybrid washe s
Hey EC, great video! Could you do a comparison of labocosmetica primus 2.0 vs bilthamber touchless? Thanks!
Yes I will , it will be in a few weeks or so
Quick google search of Bilt Hamber is pH 12, most Apc's are pH 10-12. So they are both caustic (i.e. Base). Dark fury which I like is pH 11, dirt cheap for gallon, and dilutable (1-4, 1-10). Only thing I haven't seen for comparison is how they effect car coatings. That is something I would love to see.
I haven’t used dark fury , but let me ask ya which one does a better touchless bolt or dark fury ?
Incorrect Touchless is not caustic. Just because a soap is basic doesn’t mean that’s it’s automatically caustic
@@SSSandhu13 what’s the SDs say ?
Hi Eddie, watched you with nick and yvan, love your style, god be with you and your family
Thanks man for joining I appreciate you!
Hey Eddie, I have a rotary to finish and a DA. I accidentally bought a 8mm instead of 15 mm on Amazon. Its goood but Is it worth returning the 8mm for a 15mm to do 1 steps? God bless you and your family.
I would use 15mm
I like Starjnagloss Forst as a pre-spray on very dirty sections also. Works better than most APCs.
Forst is real good
5K baby!!!
We did it man
I’ve been using 2 oz of GS and 2 oz of GSF as a pre wash for years now and my experience is that APC does a great job breaking down dirt, dust, and bugs but doesn’t do that great of a job breaking down road grime from the rain. So I’m interested to see how bilt hammer does with that
Ya that part in the winter , apc did the same broke down the road film , I wish I would of record winner washes. I still think touch-less is a great product
Hey, what's a great way to directly contact you with questions? I'm just getting into the paint correction and want to know the best ways and products, and preparation
Hey you can message me on Facebook or instagram and we can chop it up
Okay sounds like a plan, Instagram is the same name?
Great vid. FWIW, when my kids come home from college, their cars are usually hammered and smothered with bugs. I've found that Touch-Less worked great on removing the bugs. I'm not sure where I heard it, but somebody on one of their CZcams videos mentioned that the glucose based surfactants (like those in Touch-Less) work especially well on organic matter. I've tried a few other APCs and Citrus Cleaners, but none worked as well as Touch-Less on the bugs. I haven't compared it to a dedicated bug remover, so can't offer any comparison. I used to go old school and spray the bugs with a higher PH soap, then cover with plastic wrap and "marinate" for about 30 minutes to keep it from drying out and allow it to break down the bugs (... plus we live in N. Texas and it gets freaking hot). Now if you asked me, do I NEED Touch-Less the answer is probably not. I do like it and it is part of my detailing chemical arsenal. I've also found the price to be pretty comparable with APCs when you buy it by the gallon/5L.
Im gonna tell you Touchless v2 took all the bucks off the car it was epic, I was referring to removing of grim does it matter? do you need a touchless product , people will use what they like and they have to test
BUT I do want to say TOUCH-Less v2 removing bugs Gods work
I don’t have a use for a touch less wash personally. I rather do an apc rinse and rinseless wash. I think the Stars and Stripes is unique in that it’s like a 3ph wash where you hit it with an acidic one and then an alkaline one, with the idea being that the ph shock can help break loose more stuff.
Stars and Stripes is real good but you need 2 cannons or sprayers and 2 soaps , we’ll need to do a test to make sure
Do the touchless or rinseless soaps work the same on a coated car vs a car with no protection?
Ya easier cleaning on coated car for sure
Cool comparison Eddie, ADS' APC looks like its coming along nicely. And yea... Bottom-Up rinsing can stay over in Europe, makes more work for me and I see no difference lol
Haha 😆
Bilt Hamber is godlike - I see a lot of you guys whining that it's expensive, here in EU is dirt cheap, it's like with Ethos or ADS or even P&s or other US stuff here in EU - they are cheap in the US - expensive here in EU. And as someone here stated - one attacks only dirt - the other attacks the dirt and the LSP.. Talking from experience - used Surfex HD on CanCoat Evo (fresh one - 3 months) and it destroyed it in about that time.
Man I wish I could get 55 gallons of trace less best glass cleaner man , also it’s true for us is expensive for y’all is probably the best bang for your buck
I’ll wait until ads come out with the apc. The bill looks good but dilution seems complicated. 🤣😂 also Labo is great too
Ya primus, Decon, MSN, SF , Frostbite, AF
It's very simple! It is just as effective from a spray bottle. 20mL in a 1000 mL bottle gives you a 2% solution that works the same as foaming it and uses way less product.
The new touch-less works as well at 1% pir!
I Saw that and then I was like I dont wan people to say I didnt dilute it as heavy
New subscriber here . Hey Eddie what about Superclean as an apc??
Ive used All clean, Fbomb, Ethos , Ductile , green star, msn, car pro was my goto for a bit but never superclean, if you dilute it right dont let it dry you should be good
One thing to do is test on a small plastic trim to see how it interacts
Eddie! Checking in. Touch-less is the Grand master 🙌
Touchless v2 was real good
Did you test the new BH Touch-less on the wheels/tire like you did with the APC from ADS? That would have been a good to know how it would work on wheels/tires.
They seem to all perform the same but does the fact that the vehicle was ceramic coated? Try on a non coated vehicle.
How does it any of these compare to Stars and Stripes? A video comparo on the BH, the ADD APC, Dark Fury, DIY Detail AllClean etc and the Stars and Stripes would be great to put it all out there.
Ya I can do it , I have to get some things done and im on it.
Eddie, I think you inadvertently just did a video to show the benefit of a high quality coating. I use Touchless v1 on my cars. On one that's coated with Feynlab ceramic v3 I can almost get the panel completely clean with just a run of the mill soap presoak. On the other car with just a spray sealant that gets driven very little I can't do the same and this is where Touchless comes in.
Last thing I will say is with a product like Touchless you're actually paying for what's not in it. No caustic soda, NTA, or phosphates. It also contains corrosion inhibitors. I use mine in an ik Foam Pro 12 as you use way less product and don't have to worry about PIR. The APC pre rinse is definitely a proven method and works well.
Sup bro , in my video I did mentioned it wa sprobably the coating doign most of the work but on the windows with all teh bugs it took it all off especially the crickets .
To your other point i've never smelled something so horrific that doesnt have Caustic soda, it smelled almost the same as fbomb im referencing v2 here v1 doesnt have that strong of s mell.
@@Ecdetails I heard you mention it. I just thought it was interesting that the video is about one thing, but was a perfect example to show something else as well.
On the smell front I wonder if it's fermented sugar as Touchless is sugar based. You're about to send me into a rabbit hole now.
You really need to look into road warrior or dark fury for pre soak washes. It's like 20x cheaper than all 3 of these products and I love them. Dark fury kills bugs and road warrior can nail black streaking with no contact wash.
On its way we’ll test
@@Ecdetails solid. Thanks
I’ve been using super clean I throw it in my foam cannon and it does the job. I always hear it’s bad stuff and I definitely agree if you’re not careful. I’m definitely looking at touchless because it’s so hyped. But maybe after this video I just need a good APC that isn’t toxic…
Touch less isn’t bad just expect to use more products , Stars and Stripes cleans as good or better and better dilutions just gotta use two soaps
Look into road warrior or dark fury.
Eddie be pulling out beakers, Bunsen burners, an abacus, etc. lol
Haha 😆 my wife is like what happened 😂😂😂😂
How does this compare to Primus 2.0 for a prewash.
Primus is hard to beat man
been using apc myself just because its more economical and performs good for me
Works great I did see og sell this stuff 43 bucks not sure shipping cost
What’s pH of BH?. Do we think this is safe on coated cars for a weekly wash? Guessing no?
PH 12 , ya you can use it buy you dont need it all the time, use it when it get gnarly or when your doing a decon
@@Ecdetails 12???? That's spicy bro. Thanks for the heads up! For sure will use it infrequently.
I’m curious how it compares to bucket naked wash?
The only downside to Bilt Hamber for me is the PIR.
But it works, and I hope you enjoyed!
BH works real good
The PIR calc is super easy. Just fill your foam cannon bottle with water and spray it into a bucket until the foam cannon bottle is empty. Measure the amount dispensed. Then multiply by 0.005 (for .5% PIR), 0.01 (for 1%) or 0.02 (for 2%).
Or just skip all that and apply it with a trigger sprayer or pump sprayer)foamer. It is just as effective when applying with a trigger sprayer. 20 mL in a 1000mL bottle will give you a 2% solution.
@@jeffc6832 thank you for this. To me it’s causing you to use more product than you necessarily wouldn’t need with other brands.
It certainly works it’s just not for me. PIR to me is essentially a scam
Is touchless safe on coated vehicles to use as a pre wash weekly or is it for trashed cars before going in for contact wash before coating?
Yes sir , coated non coated it does what it does breaks down the dirt it can degrade a coating if the coating can’t handle high ph soap
@@Ecdetails oh okay, how does it compare to premus?
@@Sean-ij3mi gotta check primus is more expenisve seeing this for 43 bucks at OG but you use less of primus
Good morning, EC family.
Hey 👋
I prefer to use my normal foam cannon mix of Incredible suds and just add in some all clean if needed and the amount I use is based on how dirty. You could also just spray the APC on the dirty area and then normal foam on top. These touch-less are far too expensive to me and the amount of product needed good lord. If your car is coated it’s going to clean easily anyways unless you have been letting it get clogged up and need a decon wash.
Agreed man , I generally just apc spray on let it sit if I’m doing a rinseless spray off contact wash
I need to pick up a general use apc. Which do you recommend? We made it to 5k!!
I would go Fbomb, all clean , multix , ductile , green star
Green all for $8/gallon
Unless someone comes out with a 20 to1 apc that actually cleans no reason to switch from diy all clean. I thought one of the benefits of ceramic coating was that level of dirt comes off easy with foam of ph neutral soap and rinse. Am i wrong?
Maybe....
@ileanasantiago1807 I've seen plenty of videos of people using just a pressure washer to remove bugs off a ceramic coated car. If yall think that truck is dirty you obviously never leave pavement. I drive dirt roads and muddy pastures weekly. I live in the south where bugs are a plenty. I can show you a dirty truck.
Yes, a good coating should come clean with a pH neutral soap and rinse. That said, heavier buildup sometimes requires more, and using a stronger cleaner occasionally can help keep the coating performing as it should.
@@thomassavage6025 Lol bro no one is saying anything against what you're saying, but the bugs have been on there for 3 weeks and generally it doesnt come off with just a PH neutral soap. I have to use APC / Decon or some high PH, especially for the crickets. Compared to your off roadiing I agree my truck isn't dirty compared to yours but it was still dirty lol.
SO can coatings make it "self cleaning" sure but they are not bullet proof
All clean is super good , just picked up another gallon also it doesnt hit the throat like others
So what they say with the bilt hamber there's no caustic chemicals that would cause corrosion, but most apc would have that in.... i even switch to surfex HD
Great comparison, bro. i do enjoy this video
They say it’s not wonder why it smell 👃 haha
@@Ecdetails 🤷🏾♂️ 🤔
Eddie since Touchless can be rinsed using a hose. Using it in sprayer makes PIR super easy. 20mil in 1000ml sprayer 2% for the new Touchless double the old.
Yeah I've been playing around with Touch-Less now and found that it is just as good out of a sprayer as it is from a foam cannon, so the math challenged don't have to do a PIR calculation.
I think all of it can be used with a hose, ALL clean, fbomb, msn etc
@@Ecdetails That beaker is awesome. Where did that one come from?
@@wescat2 Koch chemie website
@@Ecdetails Appreciate it.
Not using it in a foam cannon is the key for me. Using it in a sprayer like the Multi Pro 9/12 brings the cost down tremendously. I usually mix up ~5 liters with 100ml of Touch-less which allows me to do 3-4 cars depending on size.
Ya imma make a pre mix and test it fo ra few months like id di the other stuff to see how it works
This, with the new version 2 I do a 2% when is really dirty once a month…usually only need a 1% wash monthly with a rinseless wash eveey week in between. At that dilution with the IK foamer ir ends up being as cheap if not cheaper as any reputable APC like Green Star. No need to reinvent the wheel when there is a proven option available.
@@DownloaderVideo haven't thought about putting it in a foamer. Does is foam and cling well at that dilution?

20ml in a liter of water. Pump spray on the car. Best prewash you have ever seen.
You like it better the forst?
@@Ecdetails the forst is mighty and works wonders on tires too. But the Touchless at 2-4% in the Pump sprayer is just a weapon. Didn't compare them side by side but on wife's white car, the dirt just completely melts when using the Touchless. Only saw close to the same effect from Koch Chemie vbn but at 10% dilution.

TOUCH-LESS is our new eco-friendly pressure-washer, pre-clean, snow foam which can be applied by pump spray or trigger too. Applied at between 0.5% - 2% PIR this bio-degradable sugar-based product provides truly exceptional levels of cleaning of automotive paintwork. Unlike other petrochemical-based cleaners TOUCH-LESS is free-and-easy rinsing, easing the effort of subsequent bucket washes and massively helping post-treatments bond too. TOUCH-LESS also contains corrosion inhibitors. Packed in a 1 litre bottle, contains no phosphates, solvents, NTA, or caustic soda.

I think this is a fair trade. You send us (USA sends UK) Rinseless wash and in return we give you Bilt Hamber.
Fair trade!
We send you something great, you send us something that’s overpriced, and not as good as an APC at 1/2 the amount used.
I’ll send ya some stuff the duties tho are so expensive e
@@havingtoomuchfun4806 if you add 15ml to 1.5l (1%, or equivalent of 19c - yeah it's 1l for £10 here) in an IK sprayer, it's a Goldilocks ratio, cleans really well. Unlike an APC, this doesn't bash it's way through LSP's. So cheap, cleans well, leaves BSD alone and is environmentally friendly-ish (if you care about that kind of thing). For the love of god, don't dump 250ml in a foam cannon. Treat this stuff as a prewash, not a Snowfoam.
@@pigeonpoo1823Exactly what I commented before, this is the most efficient way to use these products, in a IK Foam Sprayer….I only use 1.25 Ounces for a 1 Gallon of distilled water and I wash a full size truck including wheel wells and wheels. That equals to 135 washes at 1% and 67 at 2%. Makes no sense to look elsewhere. Less than a dollar per wash!
The more dirty the car, the better to test the chemicals.
I got what I got still tells a story , not saying any of these are bad just showing results can be the same
You need a real dirty car with Touch-less, APC cleans ok, but the chemistry is different in Touch-less. Your truck is too clean Eddie
It was dirty haha not sure how much dirtier I could get to touch less still amazing
Tried it on a farm tractor, 1% pir of DIY All Clean did a better job than 5% of original touch-less.
@@havingtoomuchfun4806 Touch-less isn't designed for a tractor. 🤣
I never understood a need for a “touchless” wash. Might as well wash it since you’re foaming the car already.
I think big rigs, RV and people who want a clean car with not alot of effort ill need to do another follw up test for sure
I can assure you that there are a great number of people that it appeals to. People with disabilities, injuries, or older age still like to take care of their vehicles while lowering the impact that it has on their bodies.
@@ExodusFX I understand that part of it, I was curious since you don't hear about it very often.
If I wanted to be lazy, could I spray the entire car down with apc and let it dwell. Then come in and do my normal rinsless wash while the apc is still on the panel. Is that doable ? Don’t make me leave the garage to rinse 😂
Ya I do it with like fbmob fbomb now I spray it on let it sit use rinsless in a keg and spray it off and wash -
@@Ecdetails Sounds good ! Gotta get me a keg . Thanks Eddie
@@Lucid77157 something with higher pressue 90-130 PSI
Someone throw a P$S label on that V2 bottle and watch how things change
There he is
Foam Primus and rinse. Foam Touch-Less and rinse. Foam KCX SuperFoam and rinse. Foam Incredible Suds and rinse. Then my girl calls to say I’m late for our bootie call and she is going shopping . Now I’m pissed but my customer’s car is clean.
Haha 😆
Would help if you actually used it on a dirty vehicle not something that has been cleaned recently.
so the car had no dirt? no bird poop, no bugs? im pretty sure it did
@Ecdetails I didn't see it and I've seen dirtier cars out there. Poor test.
Also you've used it on a ceramic coated vehicle next time try using it on a car that doesn't get washed regularly. I've seen Kenotek cargo 4100 used on actual dirty cars and Trucks and it's always come out on top. Oh BTW show me in the video where the supposed dirt is on that truck you used the snowfoam on. 😂😂😂😂
It was 4:59 bruh come on lol u said 49
I’m mad dumb bro
OG fanboys are about to cry watching this video.
🙈
I got my 🍿 ready!
@@CarsWithKeav Not sure why OG would get mad it is what it is
@@Ecdetailshe wouldn't, you showed that Touch-Less works as advertised.
He gets a bad rap, but Matt's actually a cool dude. I've been following him since 2017 and he's 100% authentic and calls it like he sees it. I get that he's abrasive sometimes and that rubs people the wrong way, but more often than not he's right when it comes to a lot of things in life (outside of detailing).
I follow very little of what he does detailing-wise, and he annoys me oftentimes with how he stubbornly clings to Gtechniq coatings, his resistance to better products/methods and the fact that he refuses to understand that you can use a pressure washer and still do a rinseless wash. His polishing style also mystifies me when he's got the machine cranked up to 11 with a microfiber pad and a ton of pressure, but I digress. Matt does his thing and he's happy with it.
I'm an adult, and I don't really get offended by anything or anyone. I don't need Matt Moreman to validate my product preferences or methods, and I don't care if he calls me an idiot for putting Barrina lights up in my garage. I know I'm an idiot for doing that because they suck balls. I want the CREE LEDs that he sells, but I just need to budget and save up for them. Hopefully I can keep the Barrinas going and not falling onto my cars until then.
No one "needs" anything that OG sells, but I'm glad they exist because it is the ultimate resource for awesome stuff. If you want something cheap, buy it from Amazon, Alibaba or Temu. Cheap is everywhere and is easy to find. But if you want something that is high quality and you've reached a point in your life where you can afford it, or can at least budget and save for it, OG is the place to find some amazing stuff for your garage and house.
I'm never going to have a true OG setup, but I can buy the elements of it that I value and that are going to make my life easier in the garage. Matt and his team have made that possible and they make interesting/entertaining content. Yeah they charge for shipping, but so does DIY Detail. Shipping isn't free and shipping companies don't give very good prices to smaller companies like OG.
You just opened a can of worms! 🤣
