- In this video I will show you how you can use Visuino IDE to simplify what might be a complex code if you were to use Arduino IDE / Code.
Here are the components you will need for this:
Hardware:
----------------
1) Arduino Uno (However, you can transfer this to any microcontroller Visuino supports as we only need 5 GPIOs !!)
2) LED Bar
3) 2 74HC595 Shift Registers. You can view my previous videos that explain how to use these cool and handy ICs. • Meadow And Shift Register & • Tutorial in Shift Regi... )
4) Rotary Encoder
Software
--------------
Visuino (Pro or not you should be fine)
You can download the code, view the schematics on my github here:

I noticed that you very smartly installed a knob onto the encoder, stops the interference dead.
Thanks! I really love what you did with the tiger tank! How fast does it go? It is hard to know because Stumpy is crazy fast :D.
I saw a video of someone (I think in Italy) that 3D printed a large size tank where we was able to sit in side. Crazy stuff :D
It goes about as fast as normal walking speed, the motors and gearboxes are out of an old power wheels.
As you could create animations with this software, record it in a micro sd and then create the code with which arduino will read the micro sd and take the animations to some addressable led strips ws2812b
Como se podrían crear animaciones con este software, grabarla en una micro sd y luego crear el código con el que arduino leerá la micro sd y llevar las animaciones a unas tiras de led ws2812b direccionables
Thank you! Welcome beck :-)
Very nice tutorial :-) Added it to the rest of your videos on the Wiki:
