- As a follow up to my first language video, I decided to try my Spanish with strangers (even though you can tell I was really nervous at first). I've been learning Spanish on and off for maybe 2-3 years now but I really need to practice speaking it. I definitely understand more than I can speak so I needed to push myself with this video. Hope you enjoy it! Thanks as always for the love and support. Mabuhayđ”đ and God blessđ€
If you haven't watched my first Tagalog prank video, watch here: âą Filipino Store Owner S...
Their facial reactions confirm that the interactions are not scripted. Keep having fun. We're enjoying it.
Oh no not scripted at allđ I was really nervous..I haven't even been to those places before filming this. Just trying to practice speaking Spanish and meet new people along the wayđ Thanks for watching!đ€
Nakakatuwa Naman marunong din magsalita ng tagalog ang mga bata..
Di mabebenta mga yanđ
You are a multilingual dude, very smart about what you can do. I subbed by the way.
I'm trying to beđ Thanks for watching and subscribing brođ€
Thank God there are people like you. Magaling yan maging multilingual ang madaming Pinoy. Yung nauso na âNosebleedâ daw pag nagEEnglish, weird talaga. Bakit?
Hahahaha so true pođŻ I love learning other cultures and languages! Knowing other peoples languages is a way to their heartđ€ Salamat po!
â€đ
good vid bro!!! you are already speaking great, though it really seems that you're nervous. But that's entirely okay, because this is your first video speaking it! Good luck to your future videos! Can't wait!
Yeah, I was definitely nervousđ Hahanap pa ako mabibiktima hahaha Thanks for watching lods! Means a lot coming from youđ€
*Your kids will THANK YOU for talking to them in tagalog in the future.*
I canât understand why many parents limit their kids to learn their mother tongue đą
Hopefully, they will!đ I never really knew how blessed I was to speak my mother tongue until we moved to the U.S.
Actually, if you watch Xiaoma's videos, most Chinese people he talked to (especially Fujianese) say their kids are unwilling to speak at least Mandarin.
@@HachikoThePoochInugami True. It's can be very difficult in a foreigh country but it can be done.
Nice vid! Pagpatuloy mo lang brother!
Thanks for watching! Tuloy tuloy lang natin ang vlogs brotherđ”đ

@@davidsanz1423 coz I moved to States. I wish I could've continued tho...great job opportunities I hear... if you're bilingual in English/French in Canada.
@@dars.2165 I lived in Montreal for a while and the French dialect in Québec did not sit well with me. The work that I did there did not require me to be bilingual French. The French they teach in most Canadian public schools is metropolitain. I live in the States now so Spanish is more useful for me here. More than half of clients I see is Spanish-only Hispanics.

Iâm sorry but you look more Hispanic than Filipino. Iâm stating the obvious but some Filipinos REALLY look like our Hispanic bros/sis and vice versa but thatâs how my dad and I survived the Asian hate movement in North America in the early days of the pandemic.
I hope that hate towards the Spanish language has abated in the Philippines. We knew of a neighbor/grandparentsâ colleague in public service who are Filipino Spanish heritage speakers, the Spanish dialect spoken in the Philippines. It wasnât Chabacano because my uncleâs wife is born and raised Chabacana. I knew it wasnât because I remembed not hearing the words âta, man, ya, kosa, naâ and Chabacano does not follow gender agreement to nouns and adjectives.
My early exposure to the language precipated my interest to learn Spanish in the late 90s. It was challenging back then because we didnât have social media, no CZcams just grammar books, dictionary and conjugation sheets so much I know is the written language. It was a good foundation when we moved to Canada then to the States. More than half of my buddies are Peruvians and Colombians.
Today, people are conversant in less than a year.
I found poetry book CrisĂĄlidas by Fernando Maria Guerrero, Filipino lawyer and an important figure in Filipino Literature in Spanish in the 1920s at a flea market in NJ. Beautiful poetry about the tropical motherland. Sadly, many Filipinos of today are naive about this part of our culture and no one gets to enjoy these masterpieces!
So true.. Hispanics just start speaking to me in Spanish and assume I'm Mexicanđ It's a lot easier to learn a new language nowadays with the internet. I appreciate your beautiful comment mi hermanođ€
@@FayMoTube Relatable but I hate to admit. There are perks of having the ability to pass for and know the language. On the other hand, I also almost got in to trouble in NYC because of how I look.
I was in Foz do Iguaçu & Rio de Janeiro đ§đ· in March people would speak Portuguese to me off the bat. Contrary to stereotypes on Brazil, anyone can actually look Brazilian. Many non-white Brazilians look like Filipinos.
Have you ever considered checking on ancestry test kit? đ
@@davidsanz1423 I actually have.. it's super interesting. I'm basically 50/50 leaning more to my Arab sideđ

@@user-kl9tq9br4b Just so everyone knows not trying to be smart but the Golden Age of Filipino Literature in Spanish happened after Jose Rizalâs time because the Spanish language became more accessible to everyone regardless of their socioeconomic status and as a medium in defiance of the American Occupation. Primarily, in the 1920s. The Propagandists were the precedent but much of the hispanicisation of the islands happen after their time.
I do not see any Spanish girl there. Please learn geography. And please respect people at work.
Thanks for watching, señorđ
maybe he meant spanish speaker you got a point there since when you spanish girl your refering to a spanish woman from spain
