That’s a 100% buy, I haven’t seen one of these in years. A very mild lift and some all terrain tires 👍
Funnily enough I see 1 or 2 every other month on Facebook marketplace in decent ish shape pretty cool imo always wanted one lol
That truck is awesome. Put a modern drivetrain like you did in the Travelall and it would be great.
@@stomper2582 Didn't realize 300+ft/lbs from your average LS was no torque compared to the GENEROUS 200ft/lbs average I'd give the larger displacement IH 6 cylinder truck engines. Maybe it's the low gears in the rear end that gave the trucks pulling capacity but who really knows. 🤷♂
@@stomper2582 Considering the LS and LT engines are upgrades based on the classic SBC yeah they're probably going to be around in 59 years. Just like there's other 100+ year old engines running around that don't have IH stamped on them. The LS makes most of its torque at 3000-5000RPM but still produces more than the the older I6 at lower RPM. They're cool, old and simple, but not as beefy and built to last as you think. They were cheap trucks for a reason.
@@IronArmPanda LS’s are over done!!!
It needs a Cummins anyway, those are probably "overdone" too though lol

A Dodge 5.7 or 6.4 Hemi would be a good choice. In my opinion 😊
That clip of the squatted truck and your reaction was everything
"The Honor of laying your eyes 👀 on" 😂 I gotta save that line to tell my wife the next time I drag something with 4 tires home!
That first crew cab looks like an old USAF security forces vehicle. Judging by the faded blue and the spot light on the roof. They were used quite a bit in the old days. I remember seeing them on the flightline when I first joined the Air Force back in 1975. Yeah, I'm an old fart veteran!
Thank you so much for your service sir !
😂😂😂😂😂 I remember them! Thanks for bringing that up! It brought back some great memories! God bless!🙏🙏🙏
Some were still used out on the missle fields when I went in. I think. I know we had Dodges.
USAF machinist/welder 83 to 96.
Wonder if it might have been a "crew truck" used to haul the crew out to an aircraft when the alert tones go off?
I'd buy that in a heartbeat if I had the funds to do so
Same here Brandon!
No kidding. Same !!!
Let's Go Brandon !!!

Ben at 406 garage up in bend Oregon specializes in international trucks.
He sells everything from turn key to full projects.
Mostly rust free desert trucks.
He ships if you don’t want to go up there.
My first truck was my step father's 68 ford with the straight 6, three on the tree. AM radio and 2 55 AC. I love and miss the ol white dog.
Man that’s a bucket list build for me as well. 12 valve cummins on a custom chassis with some mild lift. Sweet truck!!
You definitely can't pass that one up
Well he did so....
Went to work in the woods in 1970. This was the 'crummy' we all rode out to the job in.
Whtvr u do is awesome puddin because u take the time...HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY thank you for ur servce...GOD BLESS
Whoa that lifted 4x4 Luv right before the end cut looked awesome!
that would look freakin awesome with that old Box Truck Trailer box you picked up on the back of it!
Ooooh, now there is a thought.
Slick saying he can fix that bed side is pretty rad. That's some skill.
My uncle drove one of those trucks for years back in the 70's and towed heavy equipment with it.
At the start of the video, I thought this was a buy. But getting into each of em, cooler heads prevailed. 😊
Haven’t watched. It would be a buy for me. And it matches the travelalls patina fairly closely too Fingers crossed 🤞 😂
Buy Buy Buy, Puddin. Someone's gotta save her, and that's you. What a beast. All potential.
The Red Power Roundup came to town a few years back. That show made me a fan of these trucks.
100% buy....Definitely worth fixing. Would be awesome with a modern frame and drive train swap.
That is a really cool truck, hope you find one worth fixing one day!
Buy the Chevelles next to the International 😊
it's good to see Slick back in the saddle.
Used to own a '67 travel-all with a v8 - always ran. Always tore through tanks and tanks of fuel. Great trucks.
Really like the salvage yard videos. That was a good bit of advice you gave on not buying the first one you see and saving your money until you can buy something better, it seems that the right item you want to buy will come at the right time if you wait and if it is met to be.
I’m saying buy before I even finish the video. It’s the perfect color, and the spotlight on the roof is killer. The passenger side is a bit of a bummer but that with a 12 valve would be a towing machine for ya, definitely a build I’d like to see. It’s your time and money but I vote BUY! 😬
When you told slick to take it back I died I love these videos man keep them coming no matter what I go through I look forward to your videos
Best disturbed voice... " get down with the sickness " 😂
I'd love to find one of these, but that's a lot of metal work to bring back.
That would be a buy for me, and I'm not a truck guy at all. If the price was reasonable, that is. The difference is that I don't have to think about how the build would fit in a CZcams channel and if it would be profitable.
Buy it! Only seen the thumbnail so far and had to comment. BUY THIS 'PUDDIN' BLUE' BEAUTY!!!!!!!!!!
I wasn’t sure about Slick being a regular on the channel, now I miss seeing you two working together when he’s not there. 😊👍👍🇬🇧
That's a must buy slammed on the ground 👌 will look bad ass
Man...I'd be all over that crew cab if the sheet metal stays when you sneeze next to it.
Love the utilitarian look of that pud!
Old machine shops used to run all there machines off belt drives. The machines would be lined up and one shaft and huge motor or steam engine would power them all. That thing is pretty cool and old.
It’s hard to believe that was new when I was born. 😂
DAMN>>>> Look art all that other GOOD STUFF just hanging around!!!
the coolest part about that is you could swap a modern day engine & drivetrain under it, modernize the interior, update the AC & lights and you have yourself a unique old but modern day 4 door truck that can pretty much be used every day and not need to worry about scraping over someones gutter or driveway because your cars too low, infact you can probably even take it offroad if it has 4wd and all terrains. Honestly a really cool vehicle.
Definitely fitting your criteria 🤣 blue, patinered, unique
OMG... You absolutely gotta "Buy" that!!
OH MAN IF ONLY! Great looking trucks!
Puddin learnt his lesson when he purchased the first travel all.
The grinder would have been in a shop with steam driven shafts powering lathes and mills and whatnot. I work at an old salt plant in Michigan and our maintenance shop used to be set up for that back in the 30's.
Getting Puddin twice a week is awesome.
This is just what I needed. I’m stuck at home, really sick and I loaded CZcams because Im in bed for a few days and this was the first thing that popped up on my screen. You have excellent timing
What a sweet rig. Puddins blue. Patina. That's a builder right there
I can see the video now "and here we go again, another week of doing floor pans"
Hot damn Puddin, you already know the answer.
I had a 76 Lincoln just like that grey one.
Loved that thing
i was excited and then the other side happened, dang. Some day. Great content as usual.
The alliterative part of my mind wants this series to be called "Pass or Pay".
definitely get her, she has potential. Put a powerstroke diesel in it.
You should do a tour of that yard and all the cool stuff in it
That’s a bucket list truck for me! Buy them both and make a hella of a rig! If anyone has the skills it’s definitely you!
I owned a 1968 Crew cab International. It had a 354 V-8 and an 8 ft bed. I really loved that truck. I bought it in California and then the ex-wife took it in the divorce. It could haul and pull about anything. And it had power sterring by Armstrong.
This video is the best. Puddin is the best and so serious at times and so darn funny I love the videos
Cheers Puddin and slick , 👍🇭🇲
14:25 that looks like a cool project.
Thanks for the tour
Got done watching your interview with vice grip. Loved it and definitely need a collab with him!!
Slick throwing some serious shade. 😂😂
back in the early 80's a guy I knew had one of these that had been a forest service truck, on 44" mudders 1t ,4x4, V8 granny 4 with an underdrive, he could put it in low gear, low gear, low range, get out and stand at the front bumper, light a cigarette and smoke it before the back bumper passed him. he also had a travelal, a 70's pickup and several scouts or at least several scouts worth of parts....
My dad had a '64 that was a USAF truck, sold to a wrecker service (who painted it red) and was used as a push truck they finally bent the core support and radiator into the fan. He bought it, bent the core support back, and drove it 75 miles home. He replaced the push bumper with a 12" channel iron bumper and drove it until the main bearings went out (it was 300K+ we don't know for sure). the International dealer said it was the only one he'd ever seen DRIVE to the shop with no main bearings left. he replaced the engine with a remanufactured one and drove it for a few more years. He sold it to a family that drove it 60 miles a day from the reservation to town and back. They dropped by in the early 90s and thanked him for selling them such a great truck... It didn't have ANY floors when he sold it (just the supports) and I'm certain they didn't fix it either. As far as I know it's still out there as a farm truck. It was a fun truck when we were growing up...he replaced it with a '78 Suburban state hiway department truck...it had floors! Earl Schieb painted it black.
Buy it put slick on the bodywork
It makes great content
Plus that chassis swap with that lifted c30 wow
I remember seeing them back in the 70s and 80s back in central Illinois. In fact my neighbor had a 4x4 one along with a 4x4 carry all. and I remember a couple of others. Most of them in that area were old State vehicles
Yeppers 🥰 I could see you sporting a club cab H I.. thanks for sharing 😊.
I was unaware they made a crew cab pickup. I'm thinking now its my favorite International! I'm in agreeance with a couple of the other folks that it would look badazz with a lift and some beefy tires!
I definitely didn't know they existed. Awesome!
Oh come on puddin, that is one cool 4x4 . Don’t wennie out, 5 years ago you would been all over that!
Buy buy buy! Thats gotta be in the puddin collection
O gosh why not . I thought you would be slurpping these two up right away!!! Hope I won't be telling you I told you so. Even if you don't want them They are soooo beautiful to look at. Love those IHs. They are just right in sooo many ways. Thank you for putting them on. I do see your wisdom in not getting them.
Omg I have to watch 3 times minimum you are that AWESOME!!!!
Oh that white 4x4 luv. So sick hell ya now that's worth taking home
Love it when you window shop for us! Love those trucks too!!!
Back in the day factories would have shafts running across the roof. That’s what drove that pedestal grinder I’m assuming.
the first one would be good for a wall hanger. take the fender door skins and bedside hang it up in the shop. that tailgate would be good for the back on a bench.
I just fell in love with this crew cab international! Never seent one before and I can totally see you building one of these one day. You dam rite
We had one of these growing up. I even drove it to high school in the 90's. My dad had fixed it up. New interior , installed 3 point seatbelts at all 4 corners , tinted window and 34" tires. It was a sweet truck and put over 100,000 mi on it even after it was pulled from the field. We live in the west so it was a solid truck. Unfortunately this one is pretty far gone.
Ah dang that last blue International came from "Adventures Made From Scratch"
Pudding you got to do that one😂
Great show keep up the good work be safe my friend buy buy buy anything old is Kool
Caught you and Derek O'Reilly's chat video. Sleeper do88 as you said is a sponsor of You on that S10. So you are definitely one of the big in the making. Just don't end up selling out. Reference to Dodge and Fiat. Keep it real on your show and stayed true to yourself.
I have a ‘63 Travelette that I bought 2 years ago. Great trucks
Man I love those internationals !
Early 1970s in the military USAF Utah, we had a ton of these crewcab 4x4 IH longbed pickups. Used to go to remote sites around the Great Salt Lake.
Lift, tires and modern drive train after alll the rust work and that thing would be awesome.
My Grandfather had single cap one of those trucks when I was a kid. It had the spot light on the roof too
I’d love to see you save this rare gem, you can definitely do it!!!
man o' man, I would buy that if I could. What a great shop truck
Nice truck. Pudding. Happy memerial day. Thank you for your service. .in air force. Just like my dad.
That first one is too cool to pass up!
That first truck looked like the ones we used in the Air Force back in the sixties to run up and down the flight in, but that was a little before your time.
Hey Puddin and Slick 👋, thanks for sharing . Totally agree 👍 pass. But one of been a long project had you want it.
PLEASE BUILD THAT SOON! That’s an amazing truck just like it is but add the Puddin touch and it will be even better.
That is the coolest old truck I've ever seen!
Outstanding as usual, all the best from Scotland
I started smiling before you said a word when I saw that International because you know what you're getting into with those trucks.
That’s definitely a buy in my books, great old truck for your new garage
Beautiful rig right here.
