The thing about everything being blind canceling out disadvantage is that the blinded condition doesn't just give you disadvantage on attacks, it gives anything attacking you advantage to hit you. If you are blind hitting a blinded creature, you have disadvantage (because you are blind) and advantage (because they are blind), so they cancel each other out.

Looks like the thing from Carrion,
The Thing, or slightly like [Prototype], a being made of warped and liquidy flesh that assimilates more.

Learning more about this thing made me want to throw this into my campaign. It also reminded me of that powerpuff girl's episode where the Amoeba Boys learn they can multiply.

I have liked and commented! I continue to serve the gibbering dungeoncast! Greetings again milords! It's good to see you for another week for yet another boon of knowledge! Yet the subject of this week's boon is quite disturbing indeed. What kind of place is the far realm to produce such ghastly creatures? I have delved into the abyss on multiple crusades, but even if would be hesitant to enter the maddening far realm. Gibbering mouthers seem like such wretched creatures, cursed to forever wail with the voices of those devoured, as if their victims are still in there somewhere, doomed to wail making their past voices known to the world through this monster's grotesque form. Luckily I have not encountered these creatures, so that's one less monster the kingdom of knowledge and laughter has to worry about at least. Till next time milords, I shall see you again!
I was asleep when this was uploaded, so this was a nice video to wake up too. I will say though, I think brians slippers this episode should have both multiplied, that way there would have been two new ones that could have hopped onto will's feet. Then you both could have had a pair of disgusting fleshy month slippers. lol.

Bummer! I just ended a dungeon for my group that involved an alchemist that was using magical experiments to combine living beings into one big flesh golem. These would have been a great encounter! I may need to revist down the line.

So I've done combat where everyone had disadvantage on all d20 rolls and my players were rolling with laughter as their characters fell into Cactus and got kicked by goats and everything possibly wrong happened because they were effected by an unlucky curse. My longest playing friend felt really challenged by the environment. I would highly recommend using that kind of situation for a break up in play.

gibbering mouthers are made, not borne. when a magic user casts on a group of 4-12 (or more) opponents... 1)flesh to stone, 2)stone to mud, 3)mud to stone, 4)stone to flesh, 5)add a spirit wrack spell cast by clerics of one of the gods of madness .. that is how the and the mouther doeth come to gibber.

I think a much more engaging format than one guy reading text to another would be having one give a short description and summary of the creature and then both of you discussing both how it can be used by dungeon masters and his reactions as a player and the normal dumb shit. It would certainly be more useful to dungeon masters because I think most are willing to just read the information you give anyway and it wouldn't involve just reading text. Which most people don't find engaging even if its live in-person
