It's not an issue, do whatever you want. Competitively it just makes sense to go third. 1st person is still fun and better for accuracy but.... the things you can do in group fights in 3rd person trumps all that shit.
Just started watching your vids and I’m hooked on your gameplay! Personally prefer 1st person and it is great to see your 1st person gameplay but I can’t argue with the competitive advantage of 3rd person.

3rd for comp and generally better and easier,

honestly doesn't bother me whether you play first or third person. Third person does have better visibility, but if you don't have a better understanding of the games mechanics it wont benefit you much anyways. Good players like you can use both and still dominate. first person is super fun and immersive, and can give you a better perspective on the distance of players and your weapons reach. third person just really gives you the added visibility bonus to see where the enemy is around you. either way both are fun and have some benefits.
First person is love, first person is life! After chiv 1 and mordhau, im just used to it i guess. It always feels more immersive! imo 3rd person is way better in team objectives bc of the overview you get around you, but i try to cope this with a 7.1 headset and alot of hours in this game xD
The 7.1 headset definitely helps hear those heavy attacks and footsteps !

i honestly always forget you can even play in first person, the game just works so much better in 3rd, maybe if i am using a spear or something and 1v2 or 1v1ing i might go in first person but besides that ill exclusively play third person!
First can sometimes work better in a dual or for stabbing I've noticed but third is ideal for team objective for sure!
I’m only level 80 I play exclusively in 3rd just for the fact that I can see what’s going on around me
It is very nice to not get smacked in the back as much
1st person is very good for stabbing e.g long sword... With high accuracy, it can stab thru some guard. But ofc, 1st person has limited visibility... In East Asia server, lot of players know how to outmaneuver the opponent so that 1st person is not a good idea.

I play both! The first year tho I was strictly first person then figured it be better to be comfortable using both!
Very true my man. There are so many situations where third blocks your vision like against walls or trees. The best players switch for whatever suits the need at the time
@@Nuggz1 for me it’s better to be well rounded then to specialize in one particular thing . Same applies to weapons as well. Or at least for me

Agreed that's what I do. For tryouts we usually either do a first to 5 dual with 3 people or play a few TO matches and see how you do. As long as you meet our minimum age requirement and aren't toxic we pretty much accept anybody. Getting on competitive teams takes a bit more work
I play both, I always get stabbed in my bum in first person. In third person I can’t tell when someone is stabbing directly in front of me 😭

there will be always some people thinking their way is the only right way 1 st person makes my had spin so I play 3rd person if you feel like you are playing better with first person go ehead and do that why trying to enforce your right to everyone?

I personally loved first person for most of my chiv career but like you can’t deny 3rd person is optimal.
The only way to make it fair for everyone is to implement either lobbies where it’s ONLY 1st person or if it’s public have both options available as it is.
Just give people options and that way they can’t complain getting killed by someone in 3rd person
I would love first person only lobbies, wish this game would blow up already so we don't have to worry about splitting the player base.
