I also faced this problem many times, all I do is clear all cache and close all the apps from background. And it's get resolved automatically.
I'm glad it worked for you (and probably many others) but for some (like me) this (as many other so called fixes) doesn't work for me (got cache cleared, app closed, deinstalled, removed, bought another phone ...) even after a few months reinstalling it just doesn't want to.

Yes this is not working for me but how do you clear cache I followed the steps he gave but my iPhone does not have any of the instructions he’s showing in video
The problem got resolved by changing permissions, clearing cache and restarting the phone. Thanks.

@@imansab5651 yes. I just changed my password. Basically, just press “forgot password” and change it. When I logged back in it shows me that I’ve apparently leaked some information so they paused activities for that account, which makes sense. The thing is I’ve never leaked anything but it did get it fixed

Login to your account on desktop then click on report a problem and then in text field ask instagram support why your account blocked then send request to open your account again.

Clearing the data made it even worse. I do not recommend following these instructions.
Update: Instagram is actually down worldwide right now, per TikTok. Will come back to update later.
Instagram is back up as normal. Everything is working fine now.

It’s likely instagram gave u a warning for a rude comment. U have to log in on a laptop or pc to accept the warning
