This guy is an inspiration. Have seen several interviews and he always seems like the same genuine person whoever he’s talking too and that he’s enjoying every bit of what he’s doing. First I’ve heard about his son’s condition, prayers for them and can definitely understand that driving him to do what he does. All the best to him. Also, where’s that GoPro footage?? lol. Great interview 👍
Meet him at a book signing. He couldn’t have been a nicer guy. Humble and generous with his time. The real deal.
Just watched the Terminal List and it is a 10 out of 10 show. I was hooked right after the first episode, could not stop watching ...binge watched the entire thing over 2 days. Incredible and hoping we get season 2.
Totally agree. It’s one of the only series I had to start over right away because it was so good.
Read the books or go on audible....cant wait for the new bpok. Btw the first book is much darker and violent than the show
@@MrLakaveli I liked the book better
Singh:
There is nothing like reading the book! READ the book...
In The Blood" is excellent....don't deprive yourself...read that one, too.
The show already has 1.6 billion minutes in streaming views. Do you know why? No woke garbage. Great show
I had the privilege of meeting Jack Carr at the Sig Sauer Freedom Days in Phoenix this May and he was so humbled and generous to sign All 5 of his books I purchased and stood for a photo of the two of us as he did for every one in line looking forward to the next book & Series two on Amazon ❤
Watched the terminal list. Just finished the 4th book in the series. Awesome. Awesome. I hope this continues. I know that people on the other side of the political aisle may not appreciate his take. But it’s right up my alley. And good for you you Mr. Carr , doing this for your son. I love what he said about not burdening his other children. How can you not love any stories about Navy Seals???
After sesson one i read the first book and all others...csnt wait for the New one After that first hardcore Cliffhanger
I didn't know about his son. I have even more respect for him than I had earlier - he is a hero and a truly noble man.
Jack is the real deal. A great father, writer, warrior and patriot who deserves all the success in the world
Great interview on Jack Carr. He definitely has a calling as writer and family's man who loves his wife and kids especially the middle child with medical needs.
I’ve waded through many cheesy Navy SEAL or special ops style novels, with only a few not disappointing. I am 2 books into Jack Carr’s novels and they are GREAT!
Give em a try.
I had no idea a character in his book had a son with the medical condition/history that Jack’s real life son has. Wow, even more likable.
More than an American hero, Jack Carr emulates how men should use their God-given gifts for their family, their country and friends. Thank you, Jack Carr!
Meanwhile I´m at book 5 of 5 and all of them get a 10 out of 10 - such an intense and dense writing! Love them!
"Take out the camera."
Let's not show that shot. Surely that info was on the memory card.
That aside, I love Jack's books. The TV series was awesome and I can't wait for new books and the 2nd season to arrive.
*edit*
Wrote this comment before seeing the whole interview. Then heard about his son. Wow! That hit me right in the feels. What an amazing act of love to do what he's doing.
Best of luck, Jack and family.
To all those “critics” who trashed “The Terminal List” need to go in front of the mirror and punch themselves in the face. It’s ridiculous their reasons for not liking it. I could see if the performances or story wasn’t good. But it’s phenomenal. I don’t get it.
Awesome interview. I hope I get to meet Jack Carr in person. He’s a very well read man and I enjoy his books and podcasts. I wish I could meet him in person and hang out with him.
Jack Carr is the man. The research for his books is top notch. He’s incredibly well read
American hero and exceptional writer. Thank you
I’ve never seen Jack talk without a hat. Woah
He’s 2 for 2. Good for him! Always happy when people realize their dreams
Really you could say 3 for 3. When he wrote TL he envisioned Chris Pratt as the lead and Antoine Fuqua as the director. Another SEAL, Jared Shaw reached out to Jack to thank him for sitting down with him as he was departing the Teams and the NAVY and Jack giving him great advice about moving forward in life as a civilian. In that call Shaw asked if he could get a copy of the upcoming book to give to a friend of his. Jack being Jack said of course, but may I ask who your friend is? Shaw's friend was none other than Chris Pratt. After reading the book Chris Pratt met with Antoine Fuqua and together they optioned the rights to film the show. It took so long to make it to TV in large part to COVID but at least it made it. Looking forward to future seasons of the show!!
Great Job, CBS. Awesome interview 🙌🏼🙌🏼
I watched the Terminal List and was hooked immediately! Have listened to his next books, 'Savage Son', 'Devils Hand' and I'm half way through his latest 'In the Blood' and each one is excellent. Love the main character and hope to see the next series which for me (ideally) would be Savage Son as it follows on from The Terminal List.
Love this guy. Read his first 2 books. Amazing writer, and a better man!
This cats on a roll, love his books and new series!
Truly, a man who puts his duties before his rights.
Now that's a man. ♥️
Love Jack, I didn't even know about his boy. Makes me appreciate the fella even more. What a man.
Best thing on TV right now. Jack is awesome been watching him for awhile now on CZcams. Ok my mom was a librarian too dude this is making me like it more.
Just finished The Terminal List. Superb book and writing.
Jack is such a good dude, humble, down to earth and a phenomenal author.
In the Blood is Fabulous!!
Wow, much deeper appreciation for "Freddy Strain's" character in book 2 "True Believer."
leftists HATE Jack Carr. Cuz he’s a veteran, cuz he’s a former SEAL, cuz he’s a patriot. The only challenges he faces are from the American media. Millions and millions of regular people love his books.
Jack is phenomenal in every respect.
Amazing book series. Read the whole thing….then watch the series. Makes it much better…and the books are just great. 🇺🇸🤙🏼
Awesome Interview!
Jack Carr’s acting in the car on Terminal List proved he’s a Jack of all trades…
It’s a rip-off of other tv shows and movies. Husband comes home and finds wife and child murdered and seeks revenge. I’ve seen it 100 times already. There’s nothing original about it. It was an ok show. Jack Ryan is significantly better, why? Because it’s original…
@@LilSebastian_ I couldn’t agree with you more. It’s fan fiction by a fan with a great agent and publicist and the backing of Andy Dwyer’s hard earned Jurassic World and Marvel savings…
Excellent interview which Jack made easy for the reporter.
Fantastic series and book.
Incredible
I love his books!
I meet him at a book signing, he is the real deal and a very nice guy.
I'm not crazy about CBS, but I like Jack Carr.
God bless Jack Carr.
Terminal list show is awesome!
Great man writing great books.
Thanks for honestly covering a GREAT GUY! 🇺🇸🤙🏼
So awesome. J Carr is an all around great guy.
Ross perot always takes me back to the Simpsons days, and how they portrayed him was pretty funny.
This is the living embodiment of a Saint on Earth.
Great writer and entertaining series
Jack is the nicest man too. One of the good guys.
Jack Carr is a GREAT AMERICAN!
His podcast on CZcams is fantastic.
this man is everything that is right in the world
❤️
Jack is a legend!
This man and his son reminds me of my father and my brother. They share a post military career mission. My father succeeded in his mission; I'm sure Mr Carr will also be successful. Your new mission is what life is all about.
No more woke!!! I can’t wait to season 2!!!!
Realizing now that Freddie Strain is a self insert for the struggle he deals with in regards to his special needs kid
that was cool
GO JACK CARR
He’s doing what a man will do for his children. I man this generation of young men need t ok hear about.
I thought The Devils Hand was a step backwards in the series, hoping In The Blood is two steps forward.
Great show but the books are better. Give them a try.
TL is a great series. The right people hate it
🤙👌

"And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books.
The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works.
Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And anyone NOT FOUND written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire." (REVELATION 20:12-15 NKJV)
Today, while you are still alive and able, may you repent from your sins, believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that JESUS CHRIST is your Lord and Savior, so that through Him, your name will be written in the Book of Life.
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever BELIEVES in Him
should not perish but have everlasting life.
For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved." (JOHN 3:16-17 NKJV)
By God's GRACE ✝️, the gift of Salvation and Eternal Life is available to all. You can RECEIVE it. You can REJECT it. May you choose wisely
God bless your efforts! :D
I probably should keep my mouth shut. But, honestly apart from the personal challenges, whats the single thread in the broader picture we can all share here?
Do something that’s greater than yourself.
How to be a positive influence and mentor to others after 20 years in the sh*t perhaps?
What I don't understand is, he retired as an officer, so his retirement pay is decent, and has medical for life. I would imagine that's enough to take care of most of his son's medical bills.
There’s “taken” care of and there’s TAKEN care of.
@@BigDandthegirls i hear that. Can't be taking any chances when it comes to med care, I suppose
They don’t let 7 year olds be Navy Seals.
The Terminal List was ok. The reason I say that it was ok is because I have seen the same plot 100 times. Husband finds wife and child killed and seeks revenge and gets revenge like all the other movies and tv shows with the same exact plot.
SOF used to be cool due to their quiet professional personas. Now every single one of them write books, doing CZcams, tiktok, tacticool bs. Corny
You can write many books as you want, as long as you don’t give out tactics away and how u are trained , sof guys tear their bodies apart due to all the stress and injuries they face in the field due to such dangerous and risky missions they undertake, so why not let them write books they’ve already sacrificed soo much.
The ONLY Seal that wrote a book for self aggrandizement, is Rob O'Neill.
@Andy Godwin Facts are not feelings dude.
If you disagree with my assessment of O'Neil, say it directly, and prove me wrong.
You can't.
@Andy Godwin Isn't it ironic how my opinion alone, caused you to buy a book.
Oh who cares
Agreed.
Probably your two gay dads.
What an awesome man .
