I definitely like the two packages you were deciding between the best. It’s too bad that everything comes in “packages” rather then individually but that does make it even harder. I love the one you chose but as you said, the shower was gorgeous in the second package. Hopefully you’ll be able to convince the builder to let you change the shower up a bit. I can’t wait to see everything when it’s finished 🥰

They make the standard so boring! I like that they do packages and lots of options!! Such a nice design place!!! I like your choices. Can’t you change the paint color? It would be nice if they let you make your own mix. Love the square door knobs as well. The final look is going to be stunning!! Glad your getting your dream kitchen
Thank you and no we asked about the paint on the walls and they said it’s the color in the package that’s it.
This is so gorge 😍 . I like how they design it for you...are upgrade packages cheaper that way?? Most design centers I see are mix & match items (with different levels) to get what you want...which way do you think is better? & what design center is this? (Sorry if I missed that from the video.)

What company did you use to build your home is it all run threw a realtor or directly with the company who will build the home
Does anyone know the Estimate for Level 1 tiles floors in the main area? Like all the wet area's, kitchen , hallway?

I know I wish we could have done the bathroom different but that is a simple fix down the road.

I think you guys chose the best package. When you looked at the sinks I knew immediately you guys went with number 5. I yelled and was like ahhhh it was number 5. 😂 I have a similar taste in style to yours.

It will be the same color of the cabinets. But we are trying to see if the countertop people can do a waterfall on the island.

Great choices just different to see you choose more tan than gray as you have in the past but I think it will be beautiful!!!
I know I wish we could have selected a grey carpet and bathroom tile but it wasn’t a option. We do love the tan tile downstairs though. We felt like our last house needed some warmer tones. So we were happy with that. We will need to paint the walls for sure though 😂😂😂. But the carpet will blend in with the tile nicely so that’s a plus 😂

I liked the package you chose, except for the paint color. We had similar, I got so sick of it after just a short time, we have very tall ceilings, so to redo soon afterward would’ve been a PITA and costly, so I dealt with it for a few years, we recently had a painter come in and redo the house, except the bedrooms, in a very beautiful cream color, the outside is a light tan stucco, that we plan on redoing soon. Congrats on your new home! It’s going to be beautiful!
Thank you. We plan on painting ourselves. The only tricky part will be the stairs area. But we did the stairs and bar area in our last house with high ceilings. So hopefully we do okay 😆
What neighborhoods/ general areas do you recommend for families in Tucson? We are considering a move to the area with our 2 little girls.
It just depends what you want. We looked at so many and it was what felt good to us when we got to the area and spent time in the areas. There is Vail, Oro Valley, Catalina Foothills, Marana and more.
How have you enjoyed living in Tucson? How would you compare it to places like Chandler, Queen creek etc?
We love it here. I can’t compare because I don’t know the Chandler and Queen Creek area.

I love the grey package. With the white cabinets it would tone down the counter top.
That’s what we thought till we saw a picture of it sampled in a kitchen. It was just a little more than we would want.

It's too bad they don't give you two options in each package, like 2 paint color choices. The color doesn't change the price, so why not? Regardless, I think it will look wonderful and I enjoyed looking at the selections with you!
I know I feel the same way. I filled out a survey and said that.
i like the packages option you have best...I am building a home in Surprise..they only have 4-5 ugly packages that didnt include all that you had to choose from..it is a nightmare chosing all the choices with not much idea on prices etc until you get there..so many hidden costs etc..lol. at least im almost done and your color combos did help me out..! thanks..
You are welcome. Yeah we chose the packages on which flooring we liked best then which countertop we liked best. Because we can always paint the cabinets and change the backsplash. But countertops and flooring is the most expensive to change. 👍🏼

I like your choice! I understand why they do packages but it seems so wasteful to not be able to switch out the accent tile from the start.
I know it’s like for the price of the package we couldn’t do all that for that price. So we decided to just go with a package and do small changes a few years down the road

Oh nice. 🤗. We had the big one sink when we lived in Virginia and I loved it. So I am happy to be getting another one.
Was there a way to not pick a bundle? I kind of like none of them…
We had to pick something either standard at no cost or a upgraded bundle at a cost. We ended up with one we just love now and so happy with it
What was the price difference between each package?
The tile, cabinets type of packages were the same price. What was different was the sinks just depending on which one you picked.

Congratulations!! This is the first time I have seen a home builder do upgrades this way. So just know this is not how Lennar might do theirs.

Builders don’t even offer carpet anymore where I’m at. They will do it if you want but no one does! Why are they making you upgrade everything? Sounds like a rip off! What if all you want to upgrade is the floor or the countertops? Or what if you don’t like the paint in the upgraded package! Sounds like they really get u with that! Glad I didn’t have to do that 😳
This is the first builder we have known to do that. Even though I wasn’t happy to hear about the packages at the start I love my package. I actually wish we would have done more upgrades actually.
So basically you upgraded everything except window treatments?
Oh no there was way more to upgrade. That’s just what I could show from the showroom.
