  • So I lied and created a SIN.
    before you say this is not a how to video....I only wanted to record the installation process where we had some issues. Westcott has videos on the 4runner pro. Its almost the exact same steps. little difference due to the Tundra having 4 bump stops. This is a Front only kit for the 2020 Tundra Pro. In the rear I'm running Coachbuilder +2 shackles and we do show you guys how to do one of them. thx 4 watching

      @sin4459  Před 2 lety

      Wow.. usually the back is higher than the front. You can look into coachbuilder shackles in the rear. I have the CB +2 in the rear with 1.5 front lift from westcott. I wouldn't go to high without lifting the the front. If you lift the back to high you may encounter rake issues.

    Look Great Sin, good job with the vid!! New Sub btw. I have a white Pro 2020 and I wanted to get you honest opinion on how the Pro drives now, after installation. Some people say its very jittery / jerky, especially in the rear after installing the CB shackles. I really want to add a small lift, but I don't want to compromise the ride quality of the oem PRO suspension. I have been watching another channel [ 88r] and they are adding lifts all day long and doing BM fabs too, But nobody talks about the before and after!? Do you plan on a doing a review vid after a month or so? Thanks, keep up the good work.

    Hey man looks awesome! I have the westcott lift but haven't installed it yet. I was wondering how/ if you had any trouble pressing the collars on ?

    • @sin4459
      @sin4459  Před 2 lety +1

      The collars was pretty easy, use a mallet to hammer off the old one, same process putting on the new one, it is going to take a little man power. Youll have to drop the skid plate ( if you have 1 ) and you'll have to completely unbolt your lower sway bars to get it to fit back in. Then go to a trustworthy alignment shop.

  • @ianwr8
    @ianwr8 Před 2 lety +1

    Hey Sin, awesome video man! What do you think about adding a 1 inch shackle to a stock pro setup? Do you think it would be too much rake in the rear?

    • @sin4459
      @sin4459  Před 2 lety

      Not to the point of having issues but.... the handling could be off and maybe harder to control. I wouldn't lift the back without lifting the front.

    @stevenleung3469 Před 3 lety +1

    Very nice; I am planning on doing the same for my TRD pro - for the coachbuilder Shackles was there a reason you went with the +2 instead of the +3 ? 1.25" vs 1.75" actual lift.

    • @sin4459
      @sin4459  Před 3 lety

      Yes... the truck would sit more leveled withCB+2, the CB+3 would lift the back to higher. Depending on how you want your truck to look. +2 is the way to go for a leveled look.
