Taylor said in an interview she first saw Alwyn at the Met Gala and he was talking to Gigi and never said a word to Taylor. Taylor did not like that this guy Alwyn had no interest in even small talk with her. She thought Alwyn was gorgeous and she was upset he ignored her totally. Taylor left early and texted or emailed Gigi why the guy Alwyn never looked or spoke to her. Gigi who has no interest in Alwyn besides him talking to her told Alwyn that Taylor was upset and make it better. Alwyn texted or emailed Taylor he was sorry he ignored her because he was wonderstruck seeing her. Taylor was ecstatic and contacted him and loved his word wonderstruck that she used it in her song. The rest is history.

It looks like it might’ve been her to some degree because for her to be in the same country with no pacific plans and miss Travis‘s events seems kind of cruel. I can understand lunches with BFFs and so forth, but to miss the live podcast when she went to freaking ball games open, he appeared lost without her to some degree but it didn’t have to be that way so not sure it was that didn’t wanna go out
