  • This tutorial will show you how to crochet easy T-bar baby shoes / booties. These baby shoes are suitable for beginners.
    For size 0 - 3 months use a 4mm crochet hook
    For size 3 - 6 months use a 4.5mm crochet hook
    For size 6 - 12 months use a 5mm crochet hook
    For my baby shoes I used a 4mm crochet hook and Drops Lima yarn (DK weight).

    These baby shoes are adorable... Instead of using a DK yarn I used a worsted weight (4) yarn with a D (3.25) hook followed the pattern exactly and got a newborn size , i also made a second sole and sewed it to the other sole , it made the shoe firmer ... thanks for the pattern.

    I am a beginner and your tutorial is so easy to follow. I love the way you show where exactly to insert the hook in the stitch and mentioning the total stitches. Plus your video is so clear and the shot is focused where it should be. Thank you!

    I am expecting my first great granddaughter in July and thanks to you I have become a crocheting fiend! I am a real beginner but I have already made 10 pairs of booties! Your instructions are so easy to follow and you explain so well. You are amazingly talented and so great to share that talent with the world. Thanks again for your tutorial

    Thank you for this wonderful video. I was able to follow even though I'm a Booties beginner! I have crocheted baby blankets and afghans for family and friends. I finally branched out to learn clothing. All the wonderful videos on CZcams and teachers like you have given me the opportunity to learn more!

      +WoolyWondersCrochet I I don't know if you read my comment, I didn't see the instructions for the size 0 to 3, I will like to know if you just change the crochet hook size or if the count of the chain its different

    I really thought I was going to have a finished shoe on my first attempt. I only got lost one time where it wasn't clear whether to go into only the backstitch or both. I went with only the back and I think it was correct. Then I got TOTALLY lost at the t bar😭I'm a complete beginner, but the movement got faster and less detailed about where to put each(visually). When it got to the 2 double crochets I tried putting them both in the same stitch and tried putting them in separate stitches but neither seemed right. I tried to back up and it all unraveled. I'll have to start back over completely for the front of the foot because I can't find an obvious loop to pick back up from. I'm too frustrated to finish tonight, but will attempt again with any additional insight into that bar. I was loooving the super detailed instructions and couldn't believe I was doing that great on my first project...until I got to the most important part. Please help!

      Lida, FYI, most video instructors have Etsy shops, where they sell their wares, patterns, etc. It's not uncommon and more the norm. Anyone can write the pattern down as they follow along with the video. She is kind enough to share her pattern through this forum and then show us step-by-step how to do it. It is perfectly fair.

      LeftOfToday Hello be careful you don't slip stitch into that chain 1 that you start the round with because that doesn't count as a stitch but if you do that will give you that extra stitch. Sometimes a stitch marker helps to keep you on track. Hope that helps kind regards :)

    • @DianeHasHopeInChrist
      @DianeHasHopeInChrist Před 5 lety

      For one....she is using the English versus American stitches. She is calling her "double crochets", but in American terms, they are actually "Treble crochets". She needs to clarify that fact. Blossom Crochet channel clarifies the difference, and all my projects have come out beautifully.
      And she is just using a "3 cluster" in her chains.
