I'm grateful for the effort, but I found this video a bit hard to follow--I think it would be helpful to step back and show what the boot looks like at various stages. As the rounds moved on, sometimes things got wonky and I couldn't tell if it was a situation where things were correct and you just have to sit tight, or it was off. The ribbed cuff was also confusing. Somehow my shoe ended up quite large--like for a four or five year old 😂Using normal acrylic yarn.
Sorry you feel that way. To get a similar product you will have to use the same weight yarn as used in the pattern.
Hi! This is awesome! I was just thinking about making a few pairs of baby booties and I came across this video!

Thank you so much 🥰 You're welcome! Happy crafting! 😊💕
My ribbed part doesn't look anything like yours, I don't know what I done wrong. I took it apart a bunch of times? Also is your patterns for 0-3 months available?
I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble with the ribbed part. Ribbing can be a bit tricky, and there are a few things that could be causing your ribbing to look different from mine. One possibility is that your tension might be too tight or too loose, which can affect the look of the stitches. Another possibility is that you might be working the wrong stitch or working the stitch in the wrong way.
If you've already taken the ribbed part apart multiple times and are still having trouble, it might be helpful to watch some more video tutorials on how to make ribbing
Regarding the size of the pattern, the pattern I provided is for a standard size that should fit most newborns, but it can be easily adjusted to fit a 0-3 month old baby. To make the booties larger, you can use a larger hook and/or a thicker yarn. Alternatively, to make them smaller, you can use a smaller hook and/or a thinner yarn.
I hope this information helps, and please let me know if you have any other questions. 🤗
Nice, an easy-to-follow tutorial! 👍🎉🙂
Thank you so much😊
Thanks my boot turned out nice

I found your tutorial very confusing at the 3td row. After several tries I gave up to find another pattern for easy bigginers. But thank you . I love the little shoes.
I appreciate your feedback, and I'm sorry to hear that you found the third row of the tutorial confusing. Crochet patterns can be challenging, especially for beginners, and I understand the importance of clarity. Best of luck with your project😊
Mine looked great until the ribbing part...not sure how but it looks very off... especially going around the decrease area in the front. Will try again and tighten my tension
It's common to encounter challenges, especially when working on new techniques like ribbing. Adjusting your tension can definitely help improve the appearance, so tightening it a bit could make a difference. Additionally, paying close attention to the instructions for the decrease area and ensuring you're working the stitches correctly in that section can also make a big difference. Don't hesitate to experiment and try again! If you need any further assistance or tips, feel free to ask. You've got this! 💪🧶
Ohhh waooo dear you are so❤talented girl love so much from talking nature chnnel
Thank You very much. 🌸🥰♥️
Thank you
You are very welcome. Thank you for your comment❤☺
I did great with the foot part of the bootie, but the ribbed cuff was my problem. How many ribbed should I end up with?
You will end up with 29 roes in the ribbed cuffs. 🙂
Nicely presented video except around 31:33 it is as if a segment is left out. I’m left with a shoe with a strap that, in your video miraculously becomes a cuff.
It won't make much sense to repeat the same instruction 29 times. If so, it will be a very long video.😉 But you simply repeat the sequence until you reach all the way around the edge of the boot.🙂
@@AdoreCreaCrochetI found what I need on Kimcraft, thanks anyway.
Same with me. I am left with a shoe and a strap. Not sure what to do with the strap. If I crochet around the bootie what happens to the strap. I put so much time into this and now I am annoyed.
@@queencreekmomma It is explained in the video that you have to repeat the last to rows of the ribbing all around the edge of the shoe. That means you will make 29 row of ribbing and attach every other row to the shoe with a slip stitch into the next 2 stitches of the shoe.
When it says repeat, it means you have to do the same thing again, that was just shown.
😍😍😍👌
🤗❤️
Love this video but really wish you gave the stitch count at the end of each round. Im a newbie and ut would really help us newbies to undo less 😊 Hugs Kate
Hi Kate😊
You are absolutely right I should have mentioned the stitch count for each round. Feel free to follow the free written instructions with all the information: adorecrea.com/crochet-baby-booties/

Thank You❤️ Yes I think it is pretty easy to follow🥰
HI ,YOU HAVE A NEW SUSCRIBER, THANK YOU.
Thank you so much for your support. I wish you a very lovely day❤️😊🌸
My gauge is off so instead of 10 I’m doing 5 and I’m not sure if I have to do half of every instructed stitch increase or if I should do the same number of increases?
Unfortunately, I can't say for sure, so it's probably best that you try it out for yourself. I hope that it work out for You 😊
I love this pattern I'm making hats and booties, I would like to make newborn and preemie. How do I downsize the pattern ?
Thank you so much for this lovely comment. Im happy to like my pattern 🥰 You can downsize the Pattern by using a smaller hook size, and perhaps a bit thinner yarn.
I love it but ,I try to follow the pattern but not able to complete it. Thanks I will try again.
Thank you for your comment😊I'm glad to hear that you love it! Don't worry if you're having difficulty following the pattern; it's completely normal to encounter challenges when trying something new. Remember, practice and patience are key. Take your time with each step, and don't hesitate to ask for help or look up my tutorials if you need them. If you can share more details about what specifically is giving you trouble, I'd be happy to offer more targeted advice. Keep at it, and good luck! You'll get there!❤
I’m definitely doing something wrong been crocheting a week, but like 3 days over that time.
By round 6 it appears you have 35 rows, is there less of with each round?
I have a tonne, it doesn’t seem to be getting smaller lol. But this was my first attempt before I make the real pair!
I recommend that you watch the video a few more times and try again. 🤗
TrieHow do I make booties for a newborn? The pattern I printed was 3-6months. I went you your site and could only find the 3-6 pattern. I’d love to make these for my grandson who will be arriving in about 8 weeks. HELP!!!
Congratulations on your soon-to-arrive grandson! For newborn-sized booties, you may need to adjust the pattern by using a smaller hooksize and some thinner yarn. Best of luck with your project🥰
Can I use drops cotton light to make these?
No I would not rerommend that. It is too thin and have no elasticity.
How do you attach the ribbon to the shoe ????? I’m. Confused
Please answer
As stated in the video, attach each row of the ribbing with a slip stitch in to the next two stitches of the shoe. Feel free to watch this part of the instructions again, if yiou did not get it the first time. 🙂
can you please give us a tutorial for a small baby 1,8kg - prem baby
Thank you for your comment. To make the boots smaller you will just have to use a smaller hooksize and possibly some thinner yarn. I wish you the best of luck with your project😊❤
Is there a written version of this pattern anywhere? If so, where can I get it. Thanks.
Yes there is. Here is a link: adorecrea.com/crochet-baby-booties/
Is there a pattern for adult's by any chance. I know a few elderly peole that would love these
Hi there 😊 I'm glad to hear that you're interested in making hats for adults as well! I am sorry to say that I do not have this pattern for adults. But There are certainly many crochet or knitting patterns available for adult-sized crochet shoes. You can find a wide variety of patterns online, often for free. Websites like Ravelry, Etsy, and Pinterest have a plethora of patterns to choose from. I hope that you find what you are searching for . Have a nice day and happy crocheting❤
Can you use number 4 yarn ❤❤❤
You can but the boots will be larger 😊
I followed correctly however my bootie looks much larger i haven’t started the top part. I do have 29 stitches but it seems large
y best guess is that your gauge/tension does not quite match the one shown in the pattern. Remember that if you use slightly thicker yarn, or crochet a little looser, your boot will be bigger than mine🙂
Mine is very much bigger too,
😃😃😃😃😃
❤️🥰
Thank you! This was so easy to follow ❤
Thank You🥰 Im so glad to hear that 🌸❤️
I missed the very last rows, because they kept coming in with those ads, and I couldn't get back to it. 😢
I'm sorry to hear that you missed the last rows due to ads interrupting your viewing. If you need help finishing the project or have any questions about those final steps, please let me know. I'm here to assist you! 😊
It would have been nice to see how you completely closed the foot area of the shoe. I’m a beginner and I’m learning step by step with visual and it seemed that part is edited out on both videos
Hi🙂 I am not sure what you mean by "close the foot area of the shoe". No important steps have been edited out of the tutorial.
Hello….not getting how you’re attaching the last two rows off the ribbing to make the cuff
Hello, I attach the last two rows of the ribbing, just like the other rows. But I have a new and improved video tutorial for these boots where I show it more precisely. You can possibly try to watch the last part of this video.😊
i’ve tried making these booties 4 different times now and always end up with too many stiches at round 7 and can’t figure out what i’m doing wrong
I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble with the booties.
Here are a few common reasons why you might end up with too many stitches at round 7:
Accidental Increases: Check your stitches in each round to make sure you're not accidentally adding extra stitches. Counting your stitches at the end of each round can help identify if any extras have crept in.
Understanding the Pattern: Make sure you're correctly interpreting the instructions for round 7. Sometimes, a misinterpretation can lead to errors. Double-check the pattern to ensure you're following each step accurately.
Joining the Rounds: When you join each round, ensure that you're joining in the correct stitch. Joining in the wrong place can result in misaligned stitches.
I hope this really helped. And I wish you the best of luck with your project🙂
Ciao carissima complimenti mi piacciono tanto,ma non so seguirti nei sottotitoli peccato
Ehi dolcezza. Mi dispiace per questo. Ma purtroppo non capisco l'italiano. Proverò a vedere cosa posso fare. Buona fortuna 😊
I have ripped this first booty out many times. The problem starts with the decreases. (yes, I have the correct number of stitches to start-- 44) My starting point is almost dead center of the heel of the booty, when i finish with my 6th set of decreases, it ends on the other side further over than where the first one started. My booty then looks wonky. IDK what I'm doing wrong, but obviously it's me, I'm problem. please help!
It is difficult to say exactly what has gone wrong for you. But I would recommend you to watch the video one more time. and possibly follow the written pattern, which you will find for free on my blog. See link in the description ☺
Did you ever sort it out? I think where you may have gone wrong is not putting your first stitch of every round in the same stitch as the slip stitch. I think this is what offsets the start / end of each round.
Cute, but I found it to be hard for a beginner. Would be good to count stitches at the end of each row.
Thank You very much.🙂 Yes i understand that. It might help you to follow the written instructions while watching the video ❤
do you have a pattern for newborn booties
Thank you for your comment.😊 No, unfortunately I don't have the pattern for size newborn. But you can easily make the boots smaller by using a smaller crochet hook. Possibly use a 3 mm crochet hook.
Is this for 3-6 months babies
Yes that it is❤😊
I need to make bootie for 1year old baby how many Stitches I need
There will be a written pattern available soon for the boots in additional sizes up to 2 years old. 🙂
Hello, I am making these lovely booties and just wondering if the pattern is copyright, can I sell the booties if I mention I didn't design them, just made them?
Yes they are copy right. But I as a the designer give permission to sell the finnished products made from my pattern. But please mention me as the designer in any description online 🙂
@@AdoreCreaCrochet Thank you so very much for your answer! That means a lot to me! xoxoxox

What exactly do you find confusing?
What did you do after making that strap please it's really confusing. I started but now I am stuck with just weird shape in my hand
Podrias decirme cuanto mide la suela en centimetros? . Gracias
Yes 😊 IT is approx 10,5 cm.
Do you have a 0-3 months boot now ?
Unfortunately, I don't have that. But you can easily make this boot smaller by using a smaller crochet hook and some slightly thinner yarn🙂
31:20 onward is quite confusing. Did a part of the video not upload properly? We go from having a separate 3 single crochet chain and then it’s attached?
I'm sorry if the video was confusing at that point. It's possible that there was an issue with the video upload or that the video was edited in a way that caused confusion. If you have any specific questions about the steps shown at 31:20, I'd be happy to try to help clarify things for you. Please read the free pattern on my blog. How many chain for 0-3 months?
I'm sorry, but I can't say for sure. I will have to make a new pattern, on a smaller size. But you can try to, for example, use a smaller crochet hook and possibly some slightly thinner yarn. The boot will thereby become smaller 🙂
