I swear I’ve tried nearly 10+ patterns with none of them coming out correctly and/or having poorly written instructions. These booties turned out beautiful. I’m looking for to making several pairs 😊I do have a question though, each time that you join your round and make your chain 2 are you putting the next stitch into that same stitch that you did the chain 2? Because sometimes it’s mentioned and others you’ll say something different. Thank you for sharing 🤗
I always join on top of the first st not the chains. The chains are there so there is no gap. In order for this to work you always make the first st in the same first st that you joined.

What size should finished sole be?
I followed this video pattern and it came out big i actually had my 2 yr old try it on and it was fit. Is this the smallest size?

If you go into settings you can slow down the speed of video.
I don't know what I'm doing wrong but when I have a set of double crochets 23 + 23 = 46, when I do a qst full round of double crochets, I end up with 48 instead of 46.... so frustrating..... I want to learn this correctly :(
You’re probably adding an extra st right where the 3 chains are.

Instead of starting with 11 stiches, i started with 13 and ended with 60 double crochets . Where would i plac de the stitch markers??

I do agree in part, I think this tutorial is intermediate and not for beginners. I just kept stopping and starting it until I understood what was being crocheted.

I don't think she goes to fast. But that could be because I've been crocheting for almost 20 years. If anything she over explains things which is a good thing for beginners.

Looks nice but definitely not for beginner..you r too fast .....so tried to slow down multiple times but each time i end up w/1 more stitch..so very disappointing, unfortunately this did not worked up...again u r too fast....😢

It can be frustrating at times as a beginner. Keep pausing the video. Keep replaying it. Keep slowing down the speed. Turn on the ClosedCaptions. Make yourself some notes and some little sketches. Zoom in. Use as many different strategies as possible. Just don't give up, please. You'll get there with persistence. I don't know the person who makes these videos, but I've watched several of her videos. In my opinion, her videos are well made because they include all the essential information. Quality crochet videos take a tremendous amount of time to create. That's one reason it's difficult to find crochet videos which include the entire process. Another reason is that many experienced crocheters find such videos too tedious...too much talking to listen to, too time-consuming to try to speed forward, etc.
In my opinion her videos are a nice balance because they have all the necessary information for beginners yet move at a pleasant pace for experienced crocheters.
