Super disappointed. My cousin wakes up everyday fighting for her life due to sickle cell. She is constantly in and out the hospital and takes heavy medication. We can’t even visit her because our whole family is scared that we can give her even a small cold. She never leaves the house because she now needs a wheelchair because her legs are weak, every night she needs to be put on a machine to help circulate her blood in her legs. Sometimes she can’t even make it out of bed for days and weeks. Saying you had sickle cell when you didn’t is disgusting especially when you were able to do your everyday task while people with sickle cell are literally on bed rest and have their life on pause.

Fast forward to today I actually see the sickle cell video you made that was posted on youtube today and damm sis you really tried us all and lied to us all over again first of all you said in the podcast with bramty that a nurse had mentioned the disease to you and you took it and ran with it without even knowing what it was you said and I quote “my dumbass my stupid dambass really thought that it was like a cold and you get like a flu” however im your “sickle cell video” you explained it to the tea exactly what you were “diagnosed” with and the symptoms people with sickle cell have. You also told bramty your mom didn’t know because she doesn’t speak English but if she would’ve know she would’ve held you accountable and now it turns out your mom actually made a video with you keeping up with your lie? Then bramty asked if you did realize right away that you fucked up really bad and you said yesss and you said you kept it up for a bit then deleted it hoping everyone would forget but that was also not true you made more videos and kept posting how sick your sickle cell was making you. I feel bad for what happened to Daisy at the club but why didn't she get police involved? She could've gotten surveillance videos if not from the club then places around it and from the hotel itself! She said the security saw the car and guys and the hotel has several cameras around them... there's so much that could've been done...

I know it sounds weird but if it was in 2018 that means she was around 19-20 and from this episode it sounds like she had a lot of issues. I had my own issues and trust me when I was 19 I was really reckless and naive. Also really dumb. Sometimes when we’re young we are just dumb and brush things off until later in life

It was wrong of her, and I’m sure the lack of accountability came from her being scared of the backlash which has grown now more than ever. I’d like to see her open up a foundation or donate to a sickle cell foundation to make up for the lie she told, as an apology to all those that are affected by the incurable disease.

I have always said we should be empathetic and have room to let others make mistakes, because we are all imperfect. I think what is wrong is her saying it was a Mistake, because a mistake is something you do without rationally knowing what you’re doing or analyzing. She herself said she knew it was wrong and still ran with it. I think people would be more graceful if she clearly said I was wrong and it wasn’t a mistake, I lied and I ran with it. It almost feels like she wants to justify her actions. Lying about an illness isn’t a simple mistake.
And had her mom lie and cry in a video. That’s truly disgusting and there are no words but only 2 I can think of to describe them MONEY HUNGRY! There are children with sickle cell anemia struggling everyday of their lives with this disease. And she made a joke of it for yearsssss!
I don’t think people realize how much pressure comes with being in the public eye.
