Back in 2010, Lexus launched its first compact model, the CT200h. By 2014, it was time to spruce the car up a little and if you're looking for this premium hatch on the used market, it could be worth stretching to one of these facelifted models as handling, trim and styling were all improved as part of the package of changes.

What's refreshing about this review is it focuses on real world virtues and not just what spoilt journalists think who just drone on about the fact they don't like the Prius. I have owned a CT200h for three years now its nice to have on the drive, quiet, very comfortable, 100% reliable and very cheap to own. As a real world car its suits me fine.

sorry, but 6-speed cvt gearbox? a cvt litterally stands for "continuously variable transmission" it does not have distinctive gears.

I have an IS300h and looking to swap my wifes Polo for a CT200 (2016-2018). I have considered the BMW i3 but not prepared to risk the issues they have it has and risky charging infrastructure. CT200h it is. My IS300h has been nothing but excellent. Aways gets admiring looks and lovely comments.

A very through and in-depth review and the best I’ve seen on this car yet, very reminiscent of Top Gear of old. As for the car, I’m considering this as my replacement to get around the new ULEZ restrictions coming in London in Oct 2021. If I’m gong to be sitting in traffic I might as well do it in something comfortable and still looks like it goes fast even if I’m not. I think the F in F-Sport probably stands for Faux or Fake Sport in terms of performance.
One critique regrading the review I forgot to mention, can you lose the banner along the bottom, it’s just gets in the way, maybe have it fade out after ten or so seconds when each segments starts?

just got a ct200h premier spec 2015 plate. took me a while to find the right one. I'm upgrading from a 2005 manual yaris with manual locks & windows!

What is the difference between the 2014 200h and the 2017 200h?

They changed the auto box which prior to 15 / 16 was terrible.
Only problem is the 138 hp

this isn't a conventional cvt with bands. This is an electronic cvt with a stationary planetary gearset. please refrain from further comment as you do not know jack shit

Here in the UK, the CT is kinda dumb just because it costs almost as much as the IS. Both used from the same year and same mileage.
You've done so many review's on this car. The ct200h has the prius engine and drive train. The platform is a corolla .Wow you must really love this car typed in ct200h reviews, and you have done 3 that I've seen. Great reviews, but stop trying to be like Clarkson.

He is without question one of the best reviewers of vehicles on CZcams, especially with the information they research. Leaves Matt Watson for a fool.
