I would say they are taking India seriously when they will open more service centres here in India, having 1 service centre that too in Mumbai is a Joke(minimum 10-day process even if you live in Delhi), and my experience with Pixel 4a was horrifying, to say the least.
Plus if you are thinking of reselling your device, it will be a tough sell.

They have 2 service centres in Mumbai and Hyderabad
Pixel 4a service takes 10 days and i sold for 12K inside a year... Had much issue with battery.

@@varundombivli idk, my mom, dad, me and my grandfather all have moto phones, no issues yet been 2+ years. None are edge 20 fusion though it might be model specific to the fusion. This year's fusion is way better though

Was using the k20 pro with flashed Android 13 pixel experience plus rom for like three years now because let's be honest who doesn't like a clean phone. Switched to the pixel 7 for complete pixel experience, the only thing I miss now is the headphone jack otherwise there is no complaint.
Pixel 7 pro is a bit too costly given the marginal addition that it comes with and because of that P7 is the sweet spot.

The area where iPhone wins is the camera integration with all the social media apps, Instagram/Snapchat in built camers capture much much better in iphones, but in Android you get the screen capture type quality when you capture photo/video directly from social media apps.
Pixel have social media integration with Instagram and Snapchat. You can switch lenses inside these apps and also Snapchat allows to take night mode photo in pixel which is not there in any android
this was only true 5yrs ago now both s22 series and pixel 6 and 7 have amazing intregation in insta and snapchat so stop this bs now

I have pixel 4A but as you said Google is starting to take India seriously but their after sale is still a misery
My speakers were damaged in the warranty period but for me to get it fixed they were asking me to courier then the phone and they won't provide me a spare phone. (14days) and its very hard to find its parts in the local market even the phone covers and tempered glass.
Also they should improve their vid quality as well.
Still a long way to go for Google in India!

I still think I'd wait for 1-2 years before switching to pixel mainly because of the chipset performance (not bad tho) but still it has pretty significant way before switching to pixel from iOS
I don't think chipset should be the reason for not switching... It only lacks in heavy gaming, like it won't give you perfect fps in pubg (as compared to bionic chip, which like almost never fluctuates), and you'll face trouble with genshin impact and a few heavy games... Other than that, i don't think it lacks anywhere, for day to day usage...

@@reflexyy well it isn't like you can't play games on it... IPhone performs better, but that doesn't mean pixel won't perform good... You can still play pubg on 90fps (which you can't do even on iPhone 13 as it has 60hz panel) and it'll give you like pretty good fps too (75 to 85hz) but if you compare it to iPhone 14,obviously it won't perform as good... And you can play genshin impact too, but the thing is again the same, it won't perform as good as iPhones, but still, will perform quiet good in low and moderate graphic settings
donât think iphone gets better as compared because of the raw performance of iphone, pixel sacrificed a bit of performance to add their own parts of AI in the chipset which is far better than of iphone
How fast you want it to be, chipsets are already surpassed from maybe 90% people's usually workload.
Pixel are not about Raw power it's about being the smartest " Smartphone"...
I just wish their features shouldn't be US limited only

Probably Pixels are the best android phones but Google provides only 3 and 5 years of OS and security updates whereas Apple provides minimum 5-6 years of OS updates and provides security updates thereafter.
This year Pixel 7 is definitely worth for its pricing.
These smartphones companies can also make phones slower by pushing software updates.
Price comes in front of UI, privacy and other features when it comes to choosing Apple's products.

In US I couldâve gotten @$450 for trade in n $100 gift card, making the 7 a steal. My point: if u get the 7a n the 8 has a new chip n u really want it, u will be in my position next year. Huawei Google Nexus 6p was my favourite phone but the after sales service was so bad i still suffer from PTSD due to it and I stay in Mumbai. The phone used to heat up and shut down,a problem Google was well aware of and you should have seen the indifference with which it reacted to this major issue world over. They said even though it's a known problem,( I showed them multiple forumsdiscussing it)I will have to pay 12k to repair i did so but to my great despair the phone barely lasted a month. The phone was sent to chennai for repair and I got it back after 20 days.Sweared of Google phones since. They just don't do it well making a good phone is not everything you have to back it up with good support . It looks like the phones are a vanity project and once you buy it you are left at their whims.
Have been using samsung S9+ and s20+ since then and have been loving the experience.
I remember that issue of Nexus 6p, the design was simply breathtaking but the motherboard damage issue due to Google's acknowledged issue stills haunts me too. However, I still believe the no. of people now with google phones would be much more than that time so maybe a better after sales service?!

Make ur priorities fix , if you already have MacBook Pro iPad any apple product go for apple their ecosystem is good or gaming go for iphone . If ur looking for just a phone with good software experience go for pixel 7 , both are good but for me always it's pixel âșïž simply pixel is a best version of an Android phone.

Hey team TW, I have been using pixel 7 for almost a month now. The phone works fine in all departments. But recently i noticed that android auto is not working fine on pixel phones. I did some research and found out that other people are also facing the same issue. Can you check this from your end. I mean google should fix this as android auto is quite a useful feature nowadays.
