  • No damage speedrun of all four Doc Robot stages from Mega Man 3 for the NES. For those of you unsure of what the Doc Robot stages are, allow me to explain: After defeating all eight robot masters, Mega Man must revisit four stages. Each of these stages is accompanied by two RMs from Mega Man 2. Well, Doc Robot actually replicates the robot masters from MM2...you'll see what I mean. So, Spark mans stage features Metal Man and Quick Man. You'll find Air Man and Crash Man in Needle Mans stage. Flash Man and Bubble Man are featured in Gemini Mans stage. And finally, Wood Man and Heat Man are in Shadow Mans stage.
Also, below I've posted links for the Wily Wars versions of these Doc Robot stages.

oh certainly it makes 3 like a lite remake of 2, far better game, no broken quick man's stage, and nothing makes the game a breeze like metal blade (only other weapon I know to be broken is Mega Man X storm tornado when one lets you run through any horizontal stage like sting chameleon's).

@@MrVariant too bad it's not as popular as 2, while the Idea of fighting previous robot masters from past megaman games is a cool concept, it was executed so poorly, and to be honest it's kinda unnecessary since they don't actually add anything to the plot of MM3, it felt like more a cheap way to extend gameplay time, but it was probably supposed to be better at some point, they just didn't have time to make it better, because seriously: fighting those robots is a real pain, this guy makes it look easy, but trust me: you gonna get at least one game over while going throught these stages, because they're a pain to take out with your weak buster, and they're too big in comparison to the robot masters, so that leaves less space for you to dodge them.

For those wondering, the weaknesses of the Doc Robots are the following, in the order of this video.
Metal Man: Magnet Missile or Hard Knuckle
Quick Man: Gemini Laser or Search Snake
Air Man: Magnet Missile or Spark Shock
Crash Man: Hard Knuckle or Top Spin
Flash Man: Needle Cannon or Gemini Laser
Bubble Man: Shadow Blade or Spark Shock
Wood Man: Needle Cannon or Search Snake (the latter of which I find odd; must've just wanted to give him something else to give a weapon equal use)
Heat Man: Shadow Blade or Top Spin

Am I the only one that keeps getting "unavoidable" patterns? Like one air attack too low to slide under and when I jump over I get hit by the next one that's a square higher.
*Edit* My only guess as to how to avoid it would be to hide at the top using Rush Jet

@@Theberzerkerz No, i played this games since i was 3 years old, now i am 31. I played this game more times than i can count and i can say with absolute certainty, that the Heatman fight and the Airman fight were really sus. Airman HAS a pattern that you can't avoid that easily and it comes fairly often and Heatman sometimes chases you with his flamebody IMMEDIATELY after you attacked him. My guess is that he used savestated to get these ideal patterns

@@Sliider36 I know how it goes. I had to help take care of my grandma from 2013 to last March. She had dementia and was becoming increasingly unable to take care of herself. She eventually forgot how to chew her food (granted, she lost her teeth shortly before I was born and never was fitted for dentures), how to bathe/shower herself and eventually started having trouble walking or using the bathroom. Thankfully my mom was able to help with the last two problems but I was forced to make sure my grandma got dressed every morning (including putting on a clean adult diaper), ate, took her medications twice a day, and didn't fiddle with dangerous objects. On top of that, I was also helping to take care of my brother's kids (who were born in 2013 and 2014, respectively), so either way, my time for games was limited up until about last July (had to deal with my grandma's affairs and catch up with cleaning).
So sufficed to say, I was fit to be tied and I'm surprised I didn't snap.

But yeah, so I played this game after getting the Mega Man Anniversary Collection for the PS2 for my birthday in 2005. Loved it. In fact, getting a game for my birthday was a long-standing tradition from 1998 up until about 2013. In fact, a common quote that my parents would say (half-jokingly) is "We won't hear from him for the rest of the night!" After the long, hard-working year I'd have, they didn't mind in the slightest. ;)

Forget the original Quick Man, this fight here is bullshit. Basically RNG. You have to know how he acts AND have good luck for his erratic movement. At least he is more predictable than in 2 due to the lack of long strides into a wall

There's no esurefire tactic to do it thanks to RNG. You basically have to get lucky with his erratic movement. Capcom designed the game to be beaten with E-tanks and players who wanted to complete the game without taking damage were no concern to them.
