Your Weekly Denver City Council Wrap-Up - June 21st, 2024

On Monday June 17th City Council read a proclamation recognizing June 19th, 2024 as Juneteenth, Freedom Day. On Tuesday, June 18th, the Finance and Governance Committee sent to the full Denver City Council a bill to authorize the Auditor’s Office to issue subpoenas to city contractors for internal audits.
Also on Tuesday, June 18th, the Land Use, Transportation, and Infrastructure Committee sent to the full Denver City Council proposed park designations for 7 locations throughout Denver and the surroundings mountains outside of the City and County.
