Cubby Tiger have you heard of a cricket captain and batsman named Virat Kohli, hopefully when I said that name, your mind started ringing.

+Ben Brown u mean 59 AVERAGE in T20 at a Strike Rate similar to McCullum's, 135/ 54 AVERAGE in ODI's at a Strike Rate of 91/ 50 AVERAGE in Test at a Strike Rate of 55. His aggressive batting not only wins matches for his country but also brings the best out of his teammates. Also, his technique is absolute class, on the other hand people should pay me to watch Smith bat because he makes batting looks ugly.
PS: He averages over 120 in Australia in all formats, and above 50 everywhere else in the world. Hasn't he whupped u Aussies enough, and who can forget how he single handedly knocked u out of the T20 quarter-final with some glorious cover drives. Smith might be a better Test player, but Kohli is miles ahead of Smith as a complete batsman. AND, Kohli has scored runs everywhere in the world (except ENG where he was in a bad run of form) and has a hundred in every country he has toured (again, except ENG), WHILE Smith averages just about 40 in the SC (lol, can't play spin much?).

Ben Brown lol, and how are Root and Kane better. They are not even on the same level in the limited overs format. Root and Kane are good limited overs players, but Kohli has already established himself as the best in the world. Also, to average 60 in T20 AT A STRIKE RATE OF 135 is no joke, and to be so consistent in ODI's for such a long period of time is also quite a feat. Only one person who comes close to Kohli in limited overs is de Villiers and he's nearly 33.And I have already said Smith is a better Test batsman but even a mentally handicapped person wouldn't argue against Kohli as the best complete batsman in the world atm.
PS: Can u please tell me what Kane and Root have done to make them so special in limited overs Cricket? They struggled in the SC like every other non-subcontinent batsman, atleast Kohli can play overseas.

Ben Brown Kohli is the 2nd best batsman in ODI, and guess where Smith is. 4th? 5th? No! He just made it in the TOP 10, being the 10th best batsman. And in T-20, Kohli is the best batsman. Smith is better than Kohli in only Test, and that too, VERY MARGINALLY. PLAYERS LIKE SMITH CAN EASILY GET IN AND OUT OF FORM, BECAUSE OF THEIR SHITTIEST TECHNIQUE.

Kalpesh Shelat they're talking about test not limited overs. BTW loved kohli's massive contributions of 46 runs in the whole series...😂😂

its amazing when u can fail so many times and be reassured of your spot and all the best coaches can do for you.. so lucky to be picked in the first place he only avg 20 or something his first 10 matches. I guess if u cant be dropped and have the best coaches around you anyone can do it, all a mental game

He was picked for his leg spinner who could also provide some sort of batting . So his batting average was not much a count in his early days

Love Smith, but if he is so great, why is not batting at number 3? Ponting was a far superior batsman. Had great stats as a number 3.

Oh Oki is also great but why does he bat below pujara because in this case who ever has a higher batting strike rate is usually behind so the slower batsmen can get a longer time to settle and make more runs.

To accommodate khawaja in team. Smith has great record at all the positions #3,4,5. Which shows another aspect of his greatness, i.e flexibility.

4 is now the where the best player plays. The whole point of them not opening is to protect them from the new ball, but at 3 u could be in very soon. At 5, u r slightly wasted tho.
