  • In this video we test out a durable, long-lasting solution to permanently installing "No Trespassing" signs around your property.
Traditional plastic signs are flimsy, fade in the sun, and require you to write your name and address on each sign and hope the marker doesn't fade. This simple solution from seriouspropertymarkers.com/ solves these problems. They can customize the signs with your name and address to help ensure your signs stay legal and compliant year after year.
I discuss "Posting" theory and why these "No Trespassing" are an important tool that allows us to be good stewards of the land.
Let us know down in the comments if you think we're on the right track and if these signs are something you'd be willing to try.
    Thanks for watching!

I agree ! Just want to keep family safe ! You worked hard to get land. Want to be able to go for walk or hunt & not worry if someone is there. At least it is marked !

In my state, If you have "common" entry ways posted, the rest of the perimeter can be marked with a blaze of purple paint 2 inch wide and 8 inch tall, either on a tree or a post.
I marked 98 acres with less than gallon, doesnt damage the tree, and it's really hard to pull off.

That's very reasonable. Are you in Maine? I didn't mention it in the video, but here, you need the signs at each entryway as well as every 300' along the boundary. Adds up quick on 100 acres!

      We are in Tennessee.
A major point of ingress off of public access needs a no trespass sign with additional wording that purple blaze indicates no trespass, then purple paint at intervals that would be easily seen if walking in. @@Academy_Farm

Great video! I just took over the family cattle farm in Coos County just north of you. Love your channel and thanks for the great content. One of my first jobs will be to post the property. Roughly 1200 acres so I have my work cut out for me.

That'll be quite the chore! Hopefully you can take your time and enjoy the process. I appreciate it.

From my wife a lawyer of over 20 years in 4 jurisdictions. If you don't inform a person they are trespassing. They likely are not trespassing. If you have proper signs every body is notified. And don't dive free passes. People who trespass are generally a holes.

It's unfortunate that we need to litter the landscape with these plastic signs just to put folks on notice... These signs at least look a bit nicer and will hold up!

I sort of chuckled when you hung from the sign and it tore, thinking the same thing would happen if a bear were to climb that tree.
There is nothing wrong with posting your property. I had a neighbor come onto to mine and cut down my meadow because he thought he was doing me a favor.😢

😯 Tough to make assumptions nowadays... I make sure to get consent before I "help" anyone.
