Appreciate you for doing this, I saw this on Amazon and I was hoping to see a review on it. I am planning on getting and EGPU for the Ally and using this as a cooler
Niceeeeee yeah I purchased this and I seen not that much videos on it just like one lol on youtube and I was like this thing has a good amount of potential for putting devices on it and connecting it to monitors or TVs so that's why I had to make this video and I appreciate you liking it and everybody else and the comments thank you again 👍✌️
I bought the same dock when i seen your video for my rog ally i figured out to get 30W to rmy rog ally through the dock you have to get a 100W wall charger and you have to get a cord that supports 100W i got mine to work even with the fan on and multiple items like a sd card or another hard drive hook up to the dock it stays at 30W on my ally remember the wall charger has to be 100W and the cord you hook to the charger has to be 100W compatible

I got it bro I was wondering if you adjusted the aggressive setting that is default for the ally both cpu and gpu are default aggressive. I disabled both and my temps while gaming are 50 c amazing brooo no performance issues looks great hope your well!

Dude trust me you're going to like it it keeps it cooler I'll say probably like an extra 4% 5% more cooler but it helps and you can put your microSD card in it Borgeous SD card on it and you could like put more stuff on that so the dock is awesome for the price 👍😎
Any issues with the usb ports? Everything worked fine for a few days and now the usb ports wont work. Still charges the ally through usbc but nothing from usba

Any idea on how well this works with the Lenovo legion go? I really want to purchase it but everyone is either talking about the steam deck or ally and I see some bad reviews talking about how the fans break very easily and stops working after a couple weeks and that there is very noticeable lag when using Bluetooth mouse and keyboard
Do all that shit is bullshit I have the legion go and I have the Ally and I'll say like 75% of the time I have the legion go connected to that Dock and it actually brings down the temperature a lot when it gets hot because they need to update the legion go so the temperature doesn't get that hot but they've been rolling out updates that's been fixing stuff like that with the fan and all but the legion go is perfect with that and there's no lag whatsoever on it because I have that dock working off my bluetooth mouse and keyboard and so far I had it since the second month that I had my Ally when an ally first came out so it's been a while now.... so that meaning long story short the dog works perfectly fine with the legion go and I love the legion go because I'm getting used to using the controllers when they're detached so you should try to start using them like that whenever you get the legion go so you'll see how comfortable it is playing games that way which is awesome so yeah the dark is good trust me man I want to make a video about it if it wasn't and one of these days I'm going to make an update video on it just to show you guys it still works and it's still good 😉👍✌️😎
Did you notice better cooling performance on the Ally? Those fans on the Docking Station seem not so perfectly aligned for the Ally's fans (?)

No I haven't notice it but I do keep the fans on the dock and I have the fans on high when I have the Ally in dock mode just to keep things cool in the Ally but I can say when I have it like that it's in the 50's or low 60's when I check on the Ally

I got this dock and battery still drains running 30w with a 100W charger. Have you had this ussue at all?
Im curious to know if it would work on Samsung phones. Have you used it with normal android devices, especially the cooling fan?
Yeah actually it does I use my a Galaxy Z fold 3 on it and I use two other type of different Android phonee on it as well so yeah it works perfectly fine with Android devices also when you plug it to the dock DeX on you Samsung it automatically activates it so you can use like a mouse and use it like a computer type of thing.... you just gave me an idea I'm probably going to make a update video on that like a little short video but appreciate that comment and I hope my reply helped your comment 👍
What is the recommended sd cards (your top 3 in your opinion) for the asus rog ally?

What's depending on the HDMI cord try to get a new one or one that's like a 4K one they're not that expensive if you look on Amazon because that type of dog is like a 4K dock it's real high resolution it's a real good Doc it's not cheap and hopefully it's not your actual USB-C plug that's on the Ally
Will power bank 140 watts work with it? Or is it just charge the device?
A power bank I never tested it on that's a good question something ill try.......right now hold on...... I have a 130 W 80000 milliamp battery Bank and it's working right now so yeah it would work 👍

Do fans blow in intake or pull from the intake hopefully it blows the right way
the fan pulls in from the device and it pulls out the air from the back of the fans still helps that keeps it cool when I fan curve the actual Ally and ramp up the fans

Okay so to answer your question with a 60 watt charger you'll get turned off on the dock 15/16 W.....turned on you'll get and it will fluctuate between twenty and 16 or 36 watts and that's plugged into a extension cord type of thing now if you have it plugged into the wall straight directly.....now with a 100W charger then you'll get turned off on the dock you'll get between 17/20 watts and turned on you'll get between 16w to 20w and that's on the extension cord.... now directly to a wall connected you'll get between 20 to 45 I like I said that fluctuates.... also I was using a USB type-c to USB type-c watt reader braided cord..... hope this answers your question 👍👍
And heads up it always says when you plug it in and turn onto a lie that this adapter charger doesn't support but yet is still charges it and it still works so it's whatever it did that with the actual one that came with it and it did that with another 64 W one that I had
