In a political landscape that was dominated by "slick" politicians who couldn't give a straight answer to save their lives, his "honesty" seemed like a nice change of pace. I think the theory went, "a good business person knows to surround themself with people much smarter and more competent in order to succeed." That might have been a workable theory, and it might not have. The sad part is, we'll never know because he's actually a shit businessman and surrounds himself with sycophants. I hadn't seen this segment until now (a full ten months after your comment), and I wish we could go back in time and make it a required watch before voting in the primary or general elections.
