Today I’ll be doing a tutorial on how I did the crocodile and snake print design using BASE Coat!! I know I was a little out of frame but thank you guys for staying and watching! I appreciate you all! Hope you enjoy!

That actually looks and seems to work better than any blooming gel I’ve seen. This is the first time I’ve liked the croc or snake. Truly beautiful 🤩

After watching this my nail world will never be the same again! I got so obsessed with this design I pulled an allnighter to test how it worked out🙈. And the result most spectacular! Yes that’s correct
Can regular top coat be a substitute for base coat ?
I tried it with gel top coat and It didn’t flow as well as the base coat. I haven’t tried the regular top coat that dries by itself. I wouldn’t suggest it because it’ll dry too fast.
Can you do this with regular polish or does it have to be gel polish?
I would suggest gel polish because regular polish dries a lot faster
Wat is that palette you use to put your gel Polish on
It’s a resin art palette. I made my own, but you can purchase them from Amazon as well! They have different shapes and colors.
So no blooming gel applied for crocodile design? Just regular base coat? that gave it that crocodile effect?..
Yes, this crocodile design was used with base gel coat only. I’ll be posting another video showing the difference between the base gel and the blooming.
This is dumb question cause Im a newbie...but why or how are they blue in middle? Did u do something to the tip? Before video??
No question is a dumb question love. But no it’s not blue, it’s black. You may be seeing the reflection from the camera or light. But it’s only black polish used.

Hola love, so the top coat doesn’t give a good spreading effect that the base coat gives. I didn’t have a good experience with using the top coat… I just used the base coat and once I finished I top coated it.

Is base gel is the same as base coat
Yes love.. as long as it’s the base gel coat. Not regular base coat that dries by itself. This is the one you would use under the Uv/Led lamp

Yes but not the regular base coat that dries by itself… it’s the base coat that you need to cure under the lamp.

I used base gel coat with any color gel polish

@@raffiatuoluwakemijolaosho6303 I did a black gel polish… then after I cured it I used a matte top coat…. Then I went in with a shiny clear gel top coat to make the squiggly lines and cured. And that’s how the design came out. 🥰 I can redo a video if you still need more help
