Just gained a new subscriber. I started buying succulents a few months ago. I have been taking care of hen & chicks for about a year. I bought some from a local seller & then decided to order some online. I recieved them & immediately took them out of their soil. I removed bad leaves and wet the entire succulent & planted them in soil I made with sand & soil & succulent fertilizer. Then watered them. I thought this would be OK since they had been drying out already & were very very dry. I then brought them inside & have them in a window that doesn't get direct sunlight & moving them to a darker location after a few hours. Looks like I did this all wrong. :(

Thank you! I'm just getting into succulents and this video is very informative. I just recieved some cuttings and was wondering if this process is the same for purple heart cuttings? I have it in dried soil for almost a week, but the tips of the leaves are already browning with no sign of roots yet.

i propagate 10 alovera pups in february after 1 montg there is exact zero growth tips turn red leaves are leggy i watered according to soak and dry method 2 hours direct morning sunlight available 60 %soil and 40% sand

My Echeverria grow some varigated baby. But when i separate them from their mother, the babies dies.
