As a boulderer of 20yr I can say with confidence this is a great and often overlooked exercise 👍
Forearm rolls look easy but rolling they weight 12 times up and down is actually pretty hard.
You need to do reverse, all you do is turn the bar the other way so your hands are turning over the bar
This is exactly what I’ve been trying to look up. Do you know the benefits to either direction?
if you do an equal amount of both it works more muscles in the forearm
I wondered about what forearm muscles you work with rollers because i only see it demonstrated 1 way usually. Pronated grip doing wrist extensions pulling upward. But i suppose you can do it with a supinated grip pulling rope upward and you would be using wrist flexion instead of extension. So both ways pronated & supinated grip you can hit your forearm extensors & flexors. Throw in something for the brachiaradialis like hammer or reverse curls and that seems well rounded.
Wrist curls with dumbbells maybe work for people but i think its more likely to cause wrist pain
It more of a shoulder stablaer workout if you can put on a surface and it become solely a forearm workout.
Isnt it better to just rotate opposite direction? Rather than supinate your forearms to go the other way? Thats what i usually do.
It's better to do it in a pronated position rather than a supinated position. You're doing it the right way lol
When I rotate the other way I barley even feel compared to the pronated way is that normal
I'm getting my first pair of wrist rollers on Saturday. Hopefully they do the trick and help me build up some massive forearms and wrist muscles.
Edit: They actually work! Holy f! I'm gonna be ripped by next summer.
Did they increase forearm size? Im considering getting one but Im on a budget so it better be good😭
@@JOHN12190 Yea they do! But it takes time to notice the results. Like my forearms grew about half an inch over the course of a month. You have to feel them burning to know it's working. Also make sure to buy protein shakes and get that protein intake in. I made the mistake of not doing this sooner.
@@professional.commentator I use hipercaloric suplements because im skinny (sorry my english is not that good)
@@professional.commentator thanks for answering im gonna buy one right now
@@JOHN12190 Good luck! And don't forget to buy the cast iron weight plates as well. They don't come with the wrist rollers.
What counts as a rep on Wrist roller?
Up and down.
How much weight should I use I threw a 10 Farley easy
Since 10 pounds is easy for you, try stepping up to 12 or 15 pounds. The right weight should challenge you but still allow good form. Aim for that sweet spot where the last few reps are tough but manageable. Keep up the great work! 💪
How many times a week could be effective?
A good rule of thumb is to use the Vikingstrength Forearm Blaster about 2-3 times a week. This gives you a great balance between building strength and allowing for recovery. Just remember to listen to your body and adjust as needed. Happy training! 👍
How many times in a week
You should to this three times a week.
How to get those equipment?
You can get it on Amazon.com or our website 💪
Try wringing all your wet laundry out by hand..That will do it.!
