Same here man. Patrick Mahomes might be peeking my interest back in football again tho. He is fun to watch just like Peyton was.

I feel the same exact way. I watched every single game of his career, college-pro. He is my favorite player of all time. I am 34 now.
Dude was surgical. Cutting up defenses designed to contain him. A coach on the field. One of the all time best quarterbacks.
He is the best qb ever imo. Peyton was just… man he was just better than Tom when it comes down to it, love them both. Just watching him run that offense was awesome. Every organization feared Peyton.
@@corning1 He was better than Brady. The only QB i would put on Manning's level is Rodgers.
@@smallgoon you're high. Rodgers is one of the best to ever play. But he's not better than Tom Brady. I think Peyton was better than Brady in the regular season, but come playoffs, Brady flipped a switch. You also can't forget about people like Joe Montana, Dan Marino, and Terry Bradshaw. People sometimes forget how amazing Bradshaw was.
I'm a Bears fan (tragic, i know). When i was young and stupid, i hated him b/c he absolutely tore up the Bears defense in 2006 (him and Edgerrin James) but in hindsight, they were a great team. Definitely deserved to win the Super Bowl ahead of Rex Grossman lmfao
@@calebalvarez1234 you're absolutely right about Bradshaw! Tough as nails at a time when the QB wasn't protected. Delivered under pressure, made everyone around him better. Old school, smash mouth football player.

@@Cristiano.vianna Tom Brady Better Than Peyton Manning!
czcams.com/video/tNx1y8AXZxw/video.html
@@Cristiano.vianna exactly this. Tom was a better winner, but Peyton was the better qb.
This video is a beautiful example of why a lot of people(myself included) consider Manning the best to ever play the game. His accuracy, awareness, and arm strength are impressive. The entire mental aspect of the game and his ability to plan and prepare every week are unrivaled. 5 MVPs 2 Super Bowls, countless all pro seasons. I will never forget everything he did for the game. Can’t wait to see him be inducted in 21
After Tom retires give it a decade. Watch what people who really watched them both will start to say. I love both qb’s…. But Peyton. That man was on another level.
I always felt deep down he was just better. Than I heard Bart Scott’s comments and all former players and the insane stories. The defensive coordinators going to the offenses on install day and telling the offense what they needed to do to help THEM stop Peyton lol. You can’t get more respect than that. You better have long drives, run the damn ball, and take time off the clock, or we aren’t gonna win. Also said playing Peyton manning would have every organization shook up, their walks around the building were different. This man truly scared people.
Baiting the defense at the line of scrimmage and letting them think they figured it out, than change what the word meant and smoked them downfield. This dude….
@@corning1 Brady is far superior. His own peers voted him number one in the top 100 FOUR times when no other player has been voted more than once. He's got Manning beat in basically everything, and even won another ring on a second team like Manning did. It's really not even a close debate.
@@umdmustang9254 Brady’s records are all either longevity records or team records. Manning way way better and it’s not really close.
@@polumathes9729 nah Brady was better. He was better in the pocket, had a better arm and was a better decision maker. More consistent as well.
@@erikpuka2627 no way. Brady has never had an impressive arm (his tendency to “dink and dunk” is literally a meme at this point), and Manning’s decision making has always been amongst his best and most uniquely Manning traits. Further, Manning was the epitome of consistency, having 30 TD seasons and 4,000 yard seasons nearly every year before it was just normal to do that. He had every record in the book upon retirement after 18 years (one of which he threw exactly zero passes) whereas Brady took 20-23 years to take the same records. Manning had nobodies to throw to (Dallas Clark? Joseph Addai? Austin Collie? Even Marvin Harrison was a sub-1,000 yard receiver before Manning) and his only good coach was Dungy for 5 years, whereas Brady has played with the greatest receiver of all time (Moss), the greatest TE of all time (Gronk), the greatest coach of all time (Bill), the greatest slot receiver of all time (Welker), another AP coach of the year (Arians) and of course plenty of other all stars like Mike Evans, Julian Edelman, Chris Godwin, Leonard Fournette, Kevin Faulk and etc. He’s had a consistently better defense, a more consistent coaching staff, a weaker division both with NE & TB, more consistent special teams play, and still has never put up the same single season numbers or even the same career numbers in a comparable amount of games played.
Brady has only 2 real arguments in his favor; more rings, which is a team accomplishment, not an individual one, and a longer career, which is definitely impressive but not enough to surpass Manning, especially when considering the era he plays in makes it a personal foul to sneeze at the quarterback aggressively. Brady, honestly, is the most overrated athlete in all of sports. With the way Mahomes is projecting, he may not even be number 2.
Best Football IQ in the history of the game.
Tom Brady is the smartest QB to ever play
@Colts fan4 Life actually yeah
Payton seemed to always throw a really pretty rainbow of a pass, just dropping it down where it needed to be.
Seemed? That’s the wrong word. Peyton was playing in the age of the rough qb age too. Not like rogers and mahomes putting up all these numbers. I don’t give a damn if rogers wins his 5th mvp. This dude was so far away from Peyton it’s disrespectful to compare them. Peyton was on another level.

What I tell everyone. Watch Peyton Manning's best plays, then watch Tom Brady's best plays. Peyton was in another universe. Best I've ever seen.
Just did that. WOW! Peyton looks like he's fearing for his life behind his O line, and then throwing ropes. Brady acts like he has all the time in the world and just lobs balls.
It's funny, I never did that but this was interesting to see. Brady throws a nicer deep ball and a tight spiral. Peyton doesn't throw tight spirals as consistently as Brady but he's accurate too. Also, it looks like Brady has a stronger arm.
💯
So is Brady just in different aspects. Brady is the greatest leader imo. He also snuck it way more than Peyton. Glad I got to grow up watching both battle it out.

Number 5 was just too beautiful, no one has done it better 😢
Probably going to get hate, but I really wonder what Manning’s career would have been like if he had a hall of fame coach like Bill, or if he had consistent top tier defenses or a half decent running game. He lacked a lot of that his career, I mean 4 superbowls with 4 different coaches and 2 teams covering 10 different seasons. Just crazy, he still smashed records and was the all time winningest QB when he retired, still holds the TD record, and will forever hold a 3-1 win/loss record over Brady in championship games. He was incredible, changed the game forever.
He did struggle to come up clutch alot in the post season though. Yes the wins against Brady but the guy wasn't too clutch. He could have had 4 superbowls imo
@@enigmafiresup4658 yeah, having an "idiot kicker", Rahim moore on your team, and Hank bassett not being able to catch a ball during the onside kick, sure as hell doesn't help though
Xerox if Belichick was his coach he’d had 8-10 rings. He’s that much better than Brady.
@@konnorrockkonnoisseur4970 eh, maybe one or 2 more. I think Bill would have been ready for the onside kick, and his defense would've been better than Denver's against the Seahawks
In the 14 seasons that Manning played when Brady was in the league - Manning had a better defense in 7 of them.
Not to mention:
What did Manning do that was so great in the playoffs?
Most one-and-dones?
Most home losses?
Most Super Bowls with a pick-six?
Zero 4thQ scoring drives in Super Bowls?

@Camaro Guy Brady didn't start in the 90s lol
@Camaro Guy ppl always bring up those interceptions. Which is fair. I will also ask you who was on that team besides Marvin Harrison only in his 2nd year. Also I said ERAS of the game. Not necessarily decades. 98-04, 04-10, 10-15.
