Very good but could be misleading for someone totally new to OneNote. I say this because the newbies don’t realize that your Key2success pdf isn’t really OneNote. This video should really explain this distinction. For the purpose of explaining the use of OneNote you shouldn’t confuse things by using your Key2success. Just a thought.

However, majority of the tips are designed for anyone using the planner for digital planning. Thats are goal with the channel is to improve productivity for those that note take.

I notice you are using the full office version of one note. Windows also has One Note for windows 10 which seems to have much more limited features but a way better less cluttered more touch oriented UI. Do you have a preference?
New window is a big new idea for me. How do you get a lined page that you can use by typing on the lines? My biggest pet peeve about OneNote is that I almost exclusively use typed text. I NEVER write in it and almost never put attachments in it. I can't find a way to make a stable, uniform page for typing in.

Samsung Notes is great and if you are syncing it across one or two Samsung devices, its works well. Keep in mind with Samsung Notes, you will not be able to access our plans on your windows device. When it comes to using a system that works with multiple devices across different platforms, onenote is the clear choice.

each time you used onenote your laptop got slower? What did you do to correct it? Not sure OneNote would cause that issue unless it was using a lot of resources to sync over new content, however that would only be temporary.
@@bodendorfer yah the lagging and my screen turn into black it starting 3 months ago, And I'm just using little resources and delete step by step. I tried to fix it by displaying the unnecessary features in OneNote but still suffering when I'm studying.
onenote is the best and worst software. it's been out for 20 years and has the same design. its simple and wont add new features. but what it does it does GREAT. it's hard to migrate out of a platform that does inking / linked notes / audio syncing / ink tags
Do you have any idea how Microsoft has managed to be so hideously uneconomical with file sizes on OneDrive?.. I have a Notebook, and the .onepkg file is 25mb - that same notebook is 200mb in the "Auto save" folder - and ends up 450mb! on OneDrive?.... What on earth is that about?.. That 25mb file has ALL the data the 450mb file has!.. This is absurd, and annoying, because it looks like if I use OneNote and OneDrive I could well run out of my free 5gb OneDrive storage with ONE notebook... >.
@@bodendorfer Something is bugged. Apparently the notebook files on OneDrive don't clean themselves up of useless data, at least sometimes ... So if you delete something out of the notebook the file size doesn't go down like it should.

How come when I click on my notes, the home setting turns gray . The one with file , insert, draw , history
Those settings are only available when you are in text mode and not available in the draw mode of the app.

I am not sure how to answer your question. I generally only use 200 to 300 MBs per year and I consider myself a heavy planner user.

I believe it takes 30 days before the files are actually removed. You may want to empty your recycling bin on OneDrive.
