Welcome to this Free Immigration Help Channel. In this video, I will show you how to file asylum in USA and how to fill out i 589 form.

Applying for asylum in the US and the steps towards it are made very simple and understandable by USCIS. First, you need to determine your asylum eligibility. Also, you will find the asylum application checklist in the instructions of the application. Your asylum statement is probably on of the most important parts.
Asylum case processing time vary based on many different circumstances, like the time when you filed for your asylum, the processing center you filed to, etc.
I will also take into consideration family members of asylum seekers and of course, the above attached page has very detailed information on that as well.
So, if you are applying for political asylum and if you have any questions, you can ask them in the comments below. I will be doing more free immigration help videos describing different processes so make sure to subscribe. USCIS made it very simple to properly apply and submit documents for different statuses, etc.

@@tang0811 thank you. I prepared my file and sent it. And two weeks later, I received the answer that the documents were accepted as complete. File I-797 document. Then a fingerprint appointment was given after an average of ten days.

I'm sorry but I don't quite understand. You recommend filing i-589 online, that's good. But what should I do with the declaration and supporting documents (there are 200-500 sheets)? Scan and send with i-589 online or i can do it by postmail later? Is it important to file the i-589 as soon as possible to meet the filing deadline and start the 150-day countdown to the work permit?

I submitted my i-589 at USCIS online yesterday. After submitting the form, the following message appears "You have successfully submitted your form i-589".
I also received auto-generated email from USCIS saying "We have taken an action on your case".
Issue arises when I check the case status and case history - it says "application was not accepted online". I have a receipt number# but it also says the same things as above.
Do you have any idea why this happened to my application 😭
