Hey brother. Shortly after the pandemic I was diagnosed with late stage glaucoma. My vision literally fell off a cliff. They did emergency surgery on both of my eyes which due to the fragile state of my optic nerves Caused me to lose more vision. My whole life changed. I could no longer work as a software engineer, I could no longer drive, and I had to fight a legal battle with an insurance company that didn't want to pay my disability benefit.
Somehow I've managed to fight my way back, and feel like I am living a meaningful life again. If there is one big lesson I have learned when you really need help reach out and ask for it. Humans do terrible things to each other but there are more good people out there than you know. In my darkest moments just getting up in the morning and making my bed felt like an epic achievement. And you know what? It was. Celebrate even your smallest successes and never give up the fight.
You are one of the most humble CZcamsrs there is. Horrible to see how sickness has treated you over the years. Thanks for letting us know you're still around, even if the circumstances are crap at the moment. Wishing you all the best for 2024. Stay strong Elric! 💪

We do but I would still strongly recommend having health care insurance (not that expensive per month) especially if your working for a living as you can't trust that they fix you right away
if it's Not life threatening, 1 year que isn't unheard unless you kick up a fuss witch my mum did with breast cancer ended up sending her to private hospital and was sorted in 2 weeks (+ after checkups)

Few months ago my doc told me I had high cholesterol and I was prediabetic. I took that extremely serious and on that very same day I changed my diet. Within A month I lost 25lbs all because I stopped eating all the bullshit that was making me unhealthy. Guys, please take care of yourselves. eat healthy and try to exercise.

My dad have so many illness due to bad diet. I don't wanna be like that. Already practicing one meal a day and do at least 2 times a week exercise, and lost 42 kg.

My wife had the same wound vac. I hope it doesn’t go off as often as hers did. Ask home health or wound care for the non-bubble tape. It’ll seal better. That bubble wrap like tap is useless and never stays sealed.

This is hard to see Elric. I don’t have much because I’m in a rough patch myself. But I’ve shared what I can. I hope you get a speedy recovery and that the after effects don’t keep you down like it has done for me. For me it was a fall that hurt my back. I’m struggling with chronic pain. Then arthritis set in just when I was starting to be able to work a bit again. It’s this kinda thing that one issue comes after the other I hope you don’t have to go through. Currently working 40%. With the economy in the world these days it’s hard. I’m proud of you for reaching out and asking for help. I’m lucky to have had my family to help me the months that I was unable to pay the bills. Now your CZcams family can reach out and help you. Stay strong and let’s hope for a better tomorrow.

This CZcams channel has always heen one of my favorite tech channels. I'm sorry you're going through this but i applaud you for your bravery to reach out for help. I know that asking for help is really hard. I for ine do not enjoy asking for helo so props to you.

My dad had some weird infection spike up from a bike accident he had 30 years prior. His leg was so bad you could see his tendons and he had to use a wound vacuum, like you. I have no idea who you are and I have never watched any of your videos but I am wishing you all the best from England. Keep calm and carry on, chin up old chap. Cup of tea and all that.
