- Hey everyone! Welcome to an all new series on Cyberpunk 2077 (CD Projekt Red's upcoming sci fi game) in which I attempt to explain the setting. As discussed in the video, Cyberpunk 2077 is set in the year 2077 in Night City.
If there's anything I missed, or anything else you'd like to hear about in the future regarding the setting for Cyberpunk 2077, let me know!
For those of you new to this channel, I do a wide variety of gaming content. Most of the stuff I do is related to the Elder Scrolls (Elder Scrolls 6 discussions, TES lore, Skyrim special edition mods & builds, Oblivion content, Morrowind content, etc.) but you'll also find videos on other games, such as Mass Effect, the Witcher 3, Cyberpunk 2077, and more.

Kudos to Pondsmith for all effort he put into describing this world. It makes the setting that much more believable.

Thanks! I definitely approve switching over to a PC. Nothing against console players - you can play on whatever platform you want - it's just that I recently switched and have been pretty happy with my choice! I think we will get it in 2018 or 2019, hopefully no later than that. Thanks for watching!
Roshank Redemption i think somewhere in the middle of 2018 to 2019 if there are no delays. if delayed im thinking may 2019. what pc did u buy if u dont mind me asking?? do you play in 1080p or 4k?? and which graphics card did you go with?? thanks again
Of course getting a pc now will allow you to play a lot of fun games and if you want to get started right away that's great - but say Cyberpunk is released late 2019 (or even later), then that's 2 years of hardware development and probably a new generation of GPUs, which might mean you can get a lot more for your money if you buy the computer then vs. now. Just something to consider, but if you want a pc now then get it, there's *plenty* of other stuff to play in the meantime, and a high-end computer today will almost certainly run cyberpunk fine.
Hjalmar Wijk oo im sorry i didnt specify i am DEFINATELY waiting to buy my pc til the game is about a month from release. im putting away money every paycheck specifically for that reason. by my claculations i will have a little over $4000 by the end of 2018. so im buying a fuckin monster of a pc when the time comes. i wanna play this game in 4k ultra lol. i got my ps4 and xb1s to hold me off til then haha
Dario visconti where was it confirmed? i follow everything cyberpunk and as far as im aware nothing is confirmed. if by confirmed you mean the polish grant from the govmt end in june 2019 than that is not confirmed my friend. that deadline can be extended and no where was it confirmed by cdpr that the release date coincides with the date of the grant. it was media speculation that made that claim.

That's actually an interesting point. The nature of warfare in the real world is really changing - and that's part of the point Pondsmith is trying to make!

Probably, it is one of the greatest games ever made. But now way more people are working on Cyberpunk than Witcher 3 and CDPR gets better with every game so, who knows? I have huge expectations from this game and I am sure CDPR will not disappoint us.
