Excellent point about playing the same stuff over and over likes trades shows where you hear the same stuff. What folks want to hear is music they actually like and enjoy. You quickly get burned out on the same tracks! It's fun to hear about all the selections and I think each if you guys can come up with more for future videos! Thanks!

A late comment. Regarding bass: Try out "Never Undo" by Morcheeba (Blaze Away album). While the bass in Hey You is a kind of field across the sound stage, Never Undo has vibrating bass. Also try out the Wandering album by Yosi Horikawa. The track Wandering can pressurize a room so that you can feel the bass "node" travel from the speakers along the floor and up your legs.

Great list of reference tracks guys!
I'm a drummer/percussionist & saxophonist (mostly jazz, but all genres), so what I'm about to suggest may seem odd. But for a great bass & imaging electronic/dance track check out Smilk's "The Last Rainforest" track.
You can purchase & download the EP for a few $ on BandCamp in WAV, AIFF, ALAC, FLAC, MP3. It might be a good demo track for certain customers. ;)

    Anaïs Mitchell - Hadestown
    (album)
    Image: cdn.albumoftheyear.org/album/hadestown.jpg
...a "conceptual" album based on Homer's Odyssey with EXCELLENT SQ tracks including "Why We Build the Wall" featuring the deep baritone voice of Greg Brown. And the vocal purity and imaging of the a capella "Nothing Changes" by the Haden Triplets. Amazing production, instrumentation, solo and chorus vocals...Excellent imaging and staging. Many other guest vocals. It might not be everyone's cup of tea as it's one of those "different/unusual" albums, but I HIGHLY recommend it! Many tracks will get stuck in your head for good reason and this album will always be a DEMO CD in my system. :)

    Image: img14.shop-pro.jp/PA01076/467/product/20342992.jpg
    ...BUT MY CURRENT FAVORITE IS:
*The Steph Johnson Trio - "Nature Girl"* (jazz guitar & female vocals)...
    Image: media.sdreader.com/img/photos/2013/03/13/promojohnson_t500x449.jpg?7580f0fd518a71e3353caa4c1d2a168ff81c5319
...Steph Johnson (guitar & vocals), with acoustic double bassist Rob Thorsen, and drummer Fernando Gomez, are independent musicians from the San Diego area, so check out their live shows if you're in the area.
D@mn gents, she's got an amazing voice...as stated in the liner notes by a reviewer...a mix of Etta James and Cassandra Wilson)...this woman has SOUL!
And I can't stress enough that this CD is an EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT SQ recording!!!
I'm a drummer/percussionist and saxophonist, and the drum kit and double bass on this CD are SO LIFELIKE that it instantly sent chills down my spine, not to mention Steph's smokey vocals and smooth, clean guitar work. You can hear the "wood" of the drumstick tips on the hi-hat, individual brushes on the snare, and the cymbals and tom-toms have that lifelike attack, sustain/shimmer, and decay...all of that micro detail that make it REAL. :)
This is one of THE best recordings, both for pure SQ, AND pure enjoyment, that I've "purchased" in a looooong time. If you are at all interested in jazz, and beautiful female vocals, like Norah Jones, Diana Krall, Ella Fitzgerald, Melody Gardot, etc, I highly recommend that you check out this CD! Even if you aren't a fan of the genre, this entire CD will show off your system like very few others. And (at least IMHO) there is not a "bad" track on the entire album.
There are various little drum and bass solos spread throughout that are just absolute morsels of auditory joy. I could see many of these tracks ending up on Demo Discs such as the Focal Demonstration discs..they ARE THAT GOOD. The musicians ARE IN THE ROOM with you!
If you are interested, check out her web site (Steph Johnson Band) at: www.stephjohnsonband.com/
Here's a CZcams video of the 1st track off of the "Nature Girl" CD...Just remember that the SQ on the CD is much better, but for a YT video, this is quite good:
"Who is Steph Johnson?" in HD - CZcams ("Who is Steph Johnson?" in HD - CZcams
    czcams.com/video/SezDYSKOqsU/video.html
Hope you enjoy and am looking forward to many more amazing recommendations from you guys!

Ode to Boy.....well, I gave that a listen. Seems the actual crowd 'track' is MONOPHONIC, and I'll bet that all those effects on the music performance itself (and there are many!) were probably added POST in the studio, because that's what engineers do.
Older live jazz recordings from the late 50ies and 60ies have a truer 'live' acoustic stereo image then today's over produced studio affairs. Just my observation.
